The female owner was horribly rude to different sets of guests as they checked in separately... So it wasn't one bad interaction. She yelled at one guest from the porch about the loudness of their truck and proceeded to call another group of guests idiots. I'm not sure they know what customer service is. We booked multiple rooms for a... More

It's a very short walk from the motel to the main street makes this the best motel in the area to stay. It isn't fancy, but it is clean and comfortable. Priced right. We enjoy the locally owned motels when we travel. Staff was very friendly. It was our third stay. We'll be back again!

Oak Park Inn is a wonderful value. We stayed for several days while visiting relatives in Waynesville. The owners are friendly and accommodating. The rooms are dated but charming; meticulously clean and the bed was comfy. I loved sitting on the porch in the rocking chair and talking with the other guests. Downtown Waynesville is just around the corner. It's... More

Step back in time to the 1960's at the Oak Park Inn. This motel looks like a set from a road movie - including rocking chairs in front. The room décor fits the 60's and that is not necessarily bad. In spite of the flat screen TV and microwave the rest of the room is clean, tidy, and charmingly dated.... More

Such a lovely place. It was old, but clean and the owners were wonderfully delightful people. It was close to downtown and was reasonably priced. Loved the rocking chairs. Good coffe in the office and bear claws to go with the coffee. Lovely!

A clean, comfortable room at a reasonable price that is close enough in to walk around town and check out what Waynesville has to offer. The owners are very nice and make you feel welcome. We were only there one night but would like to return.

Older Hotel that needs updating. Owners were very nice. Clean but not so quiet with neighbors going in and out the screen door constantly. Heater didn't work properly in one of our rooms, so, we either froze or burned up. Great location.

While its def not fancy by any means its clean and cozy. We liked it. The price was very reasonable and it was right in a cute little mountain town with good restaurants. It's old fashioned but to us way more interesting than staying on an ugly highway in a cookie cutter hotel.

OK, there is a time for the Marriott or Hilton, but then there are times for the small town charm that you find with the great hosts at the Oak Park Inn. This is the kind of small town where you meet the neighbors and say hello to people as you walk down the street. And there is nobody friendlier... More

Stayed here in peak October wekend. Rate was only about $70 which is half of everywhere else. Older Motel, but clean and comfortable. Stayed just 1 night and can walk to Main Street Shops and Bogarts restaurant. Great place for the price.
