This place is a dump. Nasty rooms. If you have to stay here bring your own sheets and don't leave anything valuable in the room. They let homeless people clean rooms to pay for their own room rent. The front desk person was very nice, but it took her 3 sets of linens to find clean ones. Everything had stains... More

Spent a weekend at the Lodge. Clean room, nice people, I had a non smoking room with 2 comfortable queen sized beds. The view out my backdoor made me look forward to waking each morning to rock on the porch and watch the groundhog play. Pricing was comfortable for my budget. Looking forward to staying there again in the future.

The Lodge is pleasant comfortable I'm tour bus driver for over 35 years and I learned not to listen to other peoples comments The people at the front desk are polite and curtious slept well and heard no noises and my room was facing the highway If I ever come back I would not hesitate to stay here again.

During our resent visit to the North Carolina, we stop at the Lodge located in Waynesville, NC on the 26 October 2013 expecting a good rest. Well lets start with the price was almost a $100.00 per night; well by been a former military and member of USAA insurance was able to obtain a minor discount. I must begin by... More

On the plus side, The Lodge's front desk lady is very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean and spacious. On the downside, everything is pretty old and shabby; it just doesn't look like anyone is investing much effort in spruci. If I'd paid $40 for a room, I'd give it a better rating, but at $75 it costs... More

I'm writing this review very late because I saw some bad reviews about The Lodge. Those people must be pretty picky. My wife and I got caught in a brief but furious rainstorm this past July.We were on our motorcycles and had nowhere to take refuge. Then we saw The Lodge and it was dry and friendly. We stayed for the night and found... After having been ousted at10:30 am in the morning on a day of a wedding, from Oak Park Inn, this hotel took us in early, gave us adjacent rooms, and let us stay late on departure due to Christening at Church... Both were very much appreciated a midst our frustrations... Both rooms were fine and the staff was very helpful...... More
