We wanted to get away because we never really had a honeymoon after we were married. We decided to stay somewhat close to home and in the state of NC. We tried to find a B&B in Asheville, but couldn't find one that didn't look like a florist exploded in the room. We moved our search outside of Asheville and... More

Okay...I must admit...I am a Windover junkie! if you are a b&b aficionado, then you will appreciate the hospitality and the charm of this lovely inn. We fell into this on our first visit to Waynesville when the "recommended" inn was booked, and we have never looked back! Great folks, great accommodations, great food. What else is there? Thanks, Glenn... More

Great House !! Glenn and Jen were delightful !! The Smoky Mountain suite was spacious and extremely comfortable. Lots of nice extra touches like coffee on every floor, fresh baked cookies in the parlour, and breakfast served in your room if you book a suite! The breakfast's were great too !! We ate downstairs in the dining room the first... More

Windover is a wonderful B&B. Everything about this B&B was better than others we have stayed at. The house is beautiful and the hosts are friendly, helpful and make you feel at home. Glenn and Jen have anticipated the guests every need and more. Windover is the only B&B that we have returned to for a second visit and would... More

My wife and I spent two nights at the Windover. Even in the winter, with little color in the scenery, the house and grounds were beautiful. The house was immaculate, breakfasts were delicious, and the hosts were really accomodating and organized in order to make our visit to Waynesville the best it could be. We walked from the inn to... Stayed at this lovely Inn Nov. 10th and 11th. Beautiful rooms, and beautiful Inn. I Can not say how nice Glenn and Jen were. Glenn was so helpful helping us plan our day activities for hiking, and providing us maps, and directions that were so useful. Glen even found out what roads were closed. We did not realize that on... More

Six of us stayed here one night while cycling the Blue Ridge Parkway. After a day of lots of climbing, we were happy to arrive and relax with a beer (BYO) on the expansive front porch. The hosts are clearly experienced inn-keepers, and they are available, friendly and helpful without hovering. The decor is a bit old fashioned and fru-fru... More

My husband and I were delighted with this unexpected find. Glenn and Jen greeted us with such hospitality and were so helpful in advising what to do in the area. The pictures of the rooms/suites don't do them justice. Ours was much bigger that was shown on the website. And the breakfast... to die for. We only wish our stay... More

Our 4 night stay at the Windover Inn was amazing! We have had the opportunity to stay at many B&Bs, but this was head and shoulders above the rest. Breakfast was simple/elegant, absolutely delicious, and different each morning. Definitely not your eggs, toast, bacon, etc. breakfast! Our last morning we let Jen and Glen know that we would have to... More
