Spent my birthday weekend at The Windover Inn. Room was very nice. Owners were very charming and accommodating. All in all, a great place to stay, would highly recommend it. Some say it's a short drive from Main St. It really is walking distance if you're so inclined, which we were.

Had a wonderful stay at Windover Inn. Bed was comfy, room was cozy, food was excellent, and owners were charming and so accommodating! Location was a short drive from Main Street district but was in a nice, private, and quiet location, so I preferred that over hearing traffic at night. Beautiful grounds, nice front porch to hang out and relax... More

This is by far the best B&B we have ever enjoyed! The fantastic room, beautiful property, interesting history, attention to detail. The little extras of available cups and ice 24 hours, A Kurig for when fresh coffee was not served and little cookie jars and candy. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the evening watching a humming bird... More

I booked the Windover Inn as a surprise for my wife's 50th. Glenn and Jen made it a perfect celebration. Their attention to detail is incredible. Some of these included: coffee makers on each floor set to wake you with the smell of coffee, gourmet breakfast with fresh local ingredients (be sure to read the chalkboard right below the sign... And the amazing breakfasts are just the beginning! Jen and Glen were very kind and welcoming. I made a note that I needed gluten free breakfasts, and they were amazing. Crustless quiche. Gluten free waffles that tasted like funnel cake. Fruit compote. Fresh fruit with cream. We stayed in the roomy Pacific Suite, which includes a sitting area and whirlpool... More

Best B&B I've ever stayed out! We loved staying here. The innkeepers, Jen and Glen were so sweet and friendly! The rooms were beautiful, even better than the pictures! Homemade cookies all day, freshly ground organic coffee in the morning, and snack time on Friday and Saturday were delicious. Breakfast was amazing and kept me filled all day long. I... More

One of the best B&Bs you will stay in as they pay attention to the little details. The grounds and the hosts are superb! Rooms: I stayed in the Atlantic room which was quite roomy. The mattress was comfortable. There are three floors to this B&B so a lot of folks can stay here. During the night I could hear... More

I surprised my husband with a long weekend to The Windover Inn Bed and Breakfast. we needed to re-connect and get away since we have been married for 14 years and never had a honeymoon or gone away. We traveled 3.5 hours to get to the B&B which is nestled in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains in NC. We arrived to... More

Lovely, quiet B&B close to downtown Waynesville. Comfortable and spacious room, delicious breakfast. We regularly stay at B&Bs and would stay at The Windover Inn again. The Innkeepers were very helpful in giving us information about local restaurants, the area in general, etc.
