We have stayed here two times. September 2012 and September 2013. Both visits were great. We asked for, and got, the site we wanted. We made a last minute decision to visit the Mountains for leaf season. Winngray had been recommended to us by friends, so we decided to give it a try. My wife was most impressed by the cleanliness. A nice place to stay for a night except for the cable hook up. We were OK with the place when we stayed for a night in March. We moved to the area in June and were happy to find that they had a public laundry facility, and very close to our home. The happiness was short lived. The owners... More

This is a beautiful, shady campgound but the owners are the most inhospitable, rude, and stubborn people we have ever met. We have a service dog and we got yelled at for about 15 minutes about getting the dog out of the buidlings. We tried to explain ADA rules about service dogs but there was no making them understand.
