This is an old place - was pretty clean. The rooms were small. The carpet was torn up and frayed - about a 2 ft gash in the carpet. They have smoking rooms on both ends of the hall with nonsmoking in the middle. Luckily, there only seemed to be one smoker on our floor. Lighting needs to be checked-... more

We had a last minute need for a hotel in Washington and this was the only decent looking hotel in town that had a room available. The room seemed clean and the beds were comfortable but the big problem we had was the temperature. We we got into the room, the AC had been turned off and the room was... more

To our dismay, a reservation for a non smoking room does not guarantee a non-smoking room here in the former tobacco belt of the deep south and even on a two day stay they could not arrange to move us to a non smoking room on our second day. The hotel appears popular for it's low price, easy access and... more

My husband and myself checked in at Comfort Inn of Washington NC on 4/10/09. If was a smooth transaction. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were very very clean. You can tell that the ladies that clean there take pride in their work! The breakfeast is great. You got cereals, doughnuts, oatmeal, fresh fruit, waffles, juices, tea,... more

Terrible experience while in town for a softball tournament. Rooms are filthy and musty. Mold and filth in the bathrooms. Gave the front desk an opportunity to make it right. They moved us to the "suite" since there was only one other room available & it was Smoking, but with only one bed and three people, had to "sleep" on... more

We spent the night here when driving from Maryland to South Carolina along Rt. 17. It was just okay, room was clean, but a bit run down. I would stay here again if I got the same great rate (around $60), but not for a multi-day visit. The free continental breakfast was terrible. more

This place has aged and is really showing its years. The stairwell carpet is torn. Their are various signs of interior roof leakage. The lobby area smells of smoke. The A/C units chirped and roared all night. Overall, for one night, not too bad a deal. It is long past time for an over-haul! more

First time using Comfort Inn at Washington,NC. Usually book in Greenville but we wanted to try this one. Overall a good stay. The location is next to Walmart and some restuarants so it's in a good spot. The beds were soft and plenty of pillows. Shower was fine and no problems with hot water. It was really quiet and the... more
