We live in Chicago and were visiting Washington, NC, just over one night. The Moss House was recommended and we booked our overnight stay there. We had no idea we were about to have such a treat. Beckie and Scott could not have been more gracious hosts. The house is beautiful and in impeccable, updated shape. The bath was perfect,... More

We were in town for my father's wedding. It was so nice to stay at the Moss House. The atmosphere is lovely, breakfasts were amazing, and the house itself is beautiful. Becky and Scott are delightful!

My husband and I traveled to Washington for a last minute anniversary trip. After a quick search online, I located the Moss House. I called and had the pleasure of talking with Beckie. Even though it was last minute, she was very pleasant and booked a room for us. We arrived and were shown to our room, which was absolutely... More

My sister and I stayed at the Moss House while we were visiting our daddy. Becky and Scott are truly superior hosts. We stayed in the Anchorage room. It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. They have wonderful amenities such as granola bars and soft drinks and water in a mini-fridge right outside in the hallway. Wine glasses and corkscrew... More

This is such a wonderful place to stay in Washington. Scott and Becky are such gracious hosts. The breakfast was excellent... Chilled fruit with ginger yogurt, muffins, Juice, eggs, ham, cheese grits, pumpkin butter, strawberry jam and their own signature blend of coffee. The inn is within easy walking distance of the historic waterfront and downtown stores.

We had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before, but now are spoiled. Scott and Beckie were incredible hosts and two of the nicest folks we have ever met. The breakfasts were first class as was our room and private bath. Lots of snacks, drinks, books, magazines, games available. We felt right at home. The house is within walking... More

We were lucky enough to get a room here at the last minute when our plans changed. The house is wonderful and our room was very cosy. We were able to settle in very quickly, a lovely private bathroom, lots of storage space and magazines to curl up with. Scott and Becky made us cups of coffee and directed us... More

My husband and three daughters and I wanted a special place to celebrate Christmas with our father and "Pa-Pa" (who still resides in Washington.) Becky and Scott invited us to bring our father to their home and share in a neighborhood gathering on a Sunday afternoon/evening on the night of our stay. We had an entire evening of conversation with... More

Now that we're home, we're saying to one another, "Where's Becky?" We miss her great breakfasts and sunny personality. Moss House is a delightful and warm sanctuary for a getaway. Every detail has been thought of: Comfy bed with fine linens, great toiletries, spa robes, lots of fluffy towels, a fun DVD library to borrow (we viewed an old favorite... More
