An unexpected trip brought us to the Wallace area and we decided that we would spend the night. Asking around we were told to go to the Liberty Inn, that it was nice. It wasn't really that nice at all.
From the road the motel looked a bit shabby but we really needed a room and decided to go for it anyway because of the recommendations. The manager, who was also one of the owners, checked us in and was very friendly and polite.
The room itself was stark. It was a double but it was obvious that a second bed had just been squeezed in the room so it could be called a double. The second bed had no headboard, no light above it and no bedside table - all items that the other bed had. It also only had one pillow.
Besides the beds and the one bedside table, the other furnishings in the room were a desk, two worn wooden kitchen chairs, a TV and a mini refrigerator microwave combo. That's it.
