I recently stayed at the Forever Inn on the way to the Fork Horse Trials. My room was clean and well kept. Beautifully restored house with a lot of original historic features intact. Had a great shower, and a comfortable bed. Left early am, and the hosts accomodated our unusual departure time with banana bread packaged to go. I enjoyed... More

My husband and I stayed at The Forever Inn while attending a wedding in Wingate. The location was an easy drive from the wedding events and enabled us to avoid staying in Charlotte area hotels. The innkeepers were pleasant and helpful. Our room was clean and beautiful. The breakfasts were outstanding! Everything about "The Forever Inn" was enjoyable. The inn... More

On the way south we stopped to visit the town I was born in but did not live there. Felt very comfortable from the minute we contacted Merrie. Merrie and Dave were very very gracious hosts and the Inn was a beautiful old restored Victorian house but with very comfortable amenities. More

If I wanted to paint a picture of a southern, tree-shaded front porch, the light hearted banter of two young fishermen sitting on the wooden steps arguing about how big the fish was that got away, neighbors sauntering by, smiling as they waved a friendly ‘hello,’ that would only be the beginning of the picture I would paint of Merrie... Me and my husband Dave happened upon this wonderful Inn during a visit to North Carolina to look for a new home. We have heard about "Southern Hospitality" but couldn't imagine it would be so true. Dave and Merrie are welcoming and warm and make you feel right at home the minute you walk through the door. The Inn is... More

We stayed at the Forever Inn Easter Weekend, 2009. Our criteria was 'less than a two-hour drive and $XX.XX or less per night,'. We loved our visit! The home is beautifully appointed without feeling overdone like some older homes can. Our room was airy and extremely comfortable. Our private bath was a mini-sanctuary! There are several fun shops within walking... More

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend at the Forever Inn. Merrie and Dave were welcoming and helpful, giving tips on good restaurants in town and offering maps to local points of interest. Our room (the blue room) was lovely, spacious, and very clean. The breakfasts were scrumptious! There was fresh fruit and fresh-ground coffee, and the main dishes were so good... More

I had the wonderful pleasure of staying at The Forever Inn in Wadesboro, NC last Sunday/Monday. The hospitaliy was great and the food delicious. Merrie and Dave made the stay so very interesting as they mingled with me and another lady traveling on business. Located not far from Charlotte, NC, it would be worth the drive for anyone traveling in... More

When traveling back home to visit family I always stay at The Forever Inn. Merrie and Dave really make you feel at home. The bed and breakfast is so cozy and relaxing. And the breakfast they serve each morning in the lovely dining room is unforgettable! Top notch - can't wait to go home again!! More

First of all, we thank God for allowing us to find the Forever Inn on the internet. We fell in love with the description and the pictures on the website but to actually see the B&B was more than we could have ever hoped for! We thank Merrie and Dave for their hospitality, for their genuine love for people, for... More
