Beautiful location and landscaped grounds. View from our balcony in the Hummingbird room was breathtaking in the morning. Pecan waffles at breakfast were SOOO good. Beds in our room had foam like cushion pillow top things. We liked this, but may be too soft for some. Inn is clean, rustic country décor, and we heard no noise from adjoining rooms.... More

We were visitng the NC mountains for our vacation and made the Lazy Bear Lodge the first stop of the trip after a 10 hour drive. We stayed on the first floor in Black Bear. The room was a very nice size and the bed was very comfortable. Lots of very nice decorative touches in the room as well as... More

I don't easily give 5 star reviews, but Lazy Bear deserves one. Honestly, I can't find anything wrong with the place. My wife is not a big fan of huge dogs, but the two here, Bela and Bo, are so well behaved that they are an enhancement to the inn. Our room is spacious, clean and has a great view.... More

Beautiful settings, feels remote because is so quiet, yet close to great restaurants and fun outings. Hosts are gracious and accomodating. Rooms are extra comfortable. Everything we were looking for for a 3-day vacation!

Although our stay was only one night, I cannot say enough good things about this B & B. The setting in the hills of North Carolina was breathtaking with spectacular views of the mountains. The lodge was cozy and the amenities were "top notch." The owners were extremely gracious and the breakfast was 5 star. As we travel through that... More

We stayed here for valentines day and fortunately it was on a Thursday because there was only one other couple at the Lodge. It was an absolutely wonderful lodge. We spent our Valentine's day window shopping at Blowing rock, talking by the fire, having a gourmet dinner delivered to the lodge, and finally a nice bubble bath. The lodge is... More

I have stayed at this B&B twice in the last year. Everything about this B&B is great. No complaints at all. The scenery is amazing from this B&B. This will be my go to B&B when visiting the Boone area.

For about seven years, my wife and I have taken an annual weekend trip to Lazy Bear with four other couples. We rent the whole lodge with their five bedrooms. All of us have stayed in B&B's all over the USA as well as other countries and we rate Lazy Bear as number 1. Where else can you go and... More
