The first bed and breakfast my wife has ever really liked. Secluded mountain log lodge overlooking Valle Crucis with awesome views. No expense was spared in this lodging. Dining tables for each couple. So you can socialize as little or as much as you wish. Upscale amenities everywhere you look. The rooms were everything you'd hope for and more from... More

We spent one night and wished that we'd planned a longer stay. The innkeepers have thought of everything, as described by other reviewers. Our favorite spot was the deck with a great mountain view, breakfast area, and entertaining wildlife: humming birds, deer, squirrels, flying squirrels, birds.

Very relaxing stay. Loved the view of the mountains from the balcony. The grounds were lovely and well maintained: ponds with goldfish, flowers , bird feeders, rocking chairs on the deck. Breakfast was great Lots of privacy and and I felt like I was right at home. They even had a chocolate cake and cookies for their guests. We stayed... More

This lodge was beautiful. The room and views were great (we stayed on the second floor) over looking the mountains. The lodge was the perfect place to relax from the big city and the long drive. We loved the two dogs Bo and Bela. Breakfast was delicious and sitting outside was even more breathtaking. The innkeepers were so helpful with... More

It's not often that we stay at places that are this expensive, but my wife has always wanted to try a bed/breakfast. We had to be in Boone anyway, so she broke me down and we gave it a try. We sure are glad we did. Everything was just as my wife imagined they would be. The rooms were comfortable.... More

I can only recommend this place if you want a peaceful cozy place to unwind after the holidays. The amenities are great and you feel like your staying... More

This B and B will not disappoint. When you arrive you feel like you are in an oasis. The property is well maintained with lovely outside sitting areas and gardens. The innkeepers are extremely welcoming and do everything possible to make your stay comfortable. If you are dog people they have two really sweet dogs who love attention. If you... More

Stayed only one night at the Lazy Bear Lodge to see the fall colors and wished we had stayed alot longer. Anne was the best host - extremely hospitable and gracious. And she had a great dinner recommendation and even made reservations for us! We stayed in the Garden View room in the front of the lodge and even in... More

What a great Bed and Breakfast place this is to stay. Anne and Mark have made this a wonderful retreat for those who like peace and comfort and great food.
