The beach, the location and the pier are all amazing. However, the rooms may or may not be. In 2012 we stayed in the newer building (tall one to the left.) The room was a little outdated but was nice for the most part. The second year I requested the same room. There was an error and they put us... More

First, I want to make it clear that my husband and I really like staying in the old school "mom & pop" hotels/motels. In fact one of our favorite places is the Oak Park Inn in Waynesville, NC... But that's a story for another forum. The bottom line: we were not expecting the Four Seasons. When I called to make... More

No phone in room, no internet, NO WORRIES!!!! A very welcoming, low stress check-in by Briggs & Josh followed by a walk on one of the most beautiful beaches was a great start to a true vacation. The king suite with our own ocean-side balcony/front porch was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The clothesline with lots of clothespins on the... More

We stayed one night in the older, blue building closer to the office and the pier. We paid $135 total for two people. Our room (209) was an efficiency with sink, stove, refrigerator and some dishes on the street side, not the ocean side. The room was dirty and the whole building smelled like somebody had recently fried eggs. The... More

This place is QUITE outdated, and could use a complete remodel. Although I didn't "expect the Ritz" as another poster explained, it certainly wasn't worth the $175/night they charged us. The ONLY good thing about this place was that it was oceanfront, just steps away from the beautiful beauty of the Atlantic Ocean. Not much to do on this end... More

Stayed for 3 nights and 4 days. Very laid back and casual. The grill is very good for a short order grill. Tried alot of different items and liked them all. The rooms are adequate for their purpose, very clean. Need to bring shampoo but other than that, we had everything we needed. People were very nice and treated us... More

We just want a decent and clean place to sleep and shower and this fits our criteria. A/C and refrigerator were cold. Window and balcony view are spectacular, beach access is awesome, great pier and lots within walking distance. We will be back again.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Jolly Roger! The value is amazing, especially if you choose to stay on the west facing side of the motel. The room was clean and just what we needed for a two night stay at the beach. The location is killer, right in town across from the putt putt and... More

the bedding is ancient and there is paint chipping off the walls all thru the room .We found a very large crushed bug above our shower head which tells you how much attention the housekeeping staff pays. Also you can call and make a reservation but don't ask for a confirmation number because they don't know what they are.The rates are...
