Easily one the best campgrounds we have stayed at! We had our 30' TT with our grandkids and dogs in tow. It was a tight fit into our spot, but we did fit. There were some other chidlren in the campground so our grandkids easily made friends, and it seemed as if everyone had a dog with them...all shapes and... More

We were referred to this little gem by another RVr. We have stayed several times with the kids and they have brought friends along. We have a motor home and the first time we visited the folks arranged for us to be creekside. It was one of our first outings with our rv. We went sleep with the windows open... More

Our first time camping here, found it on internet, seem nice and close to many things to do, so we thought we give it a try for our last camping trip of the year. Couldn't be happier! Owner was very nice and kind. ,Very patience helping us ( wife) back our 5th wheel in our site. Bathhouse would rival most... More

My husband and I just got back from tent packing at the Moonshine Creek Campground in Sylva, NC this past weekend after a 3 night stay, and it was nothing short of perfect. Granted, it was a beautiful time of year with crisp-cool air and leaves changing, but the campground we can tell would be great anytime of year and... More

The campsite we had was less than 10 feet from a creek that provided soothing background noise for the entire weekend. The Staff were great. The bath house was pristine. There is plenty to do in the surrounding areas and being right in the area of the Blue Ridge and the Smoky mountains was breathtaking.

Rented the Rustic Cabin. Not much experience in how these should be but this was 65-70 night and was spacious with two rooms and kitchen area. The things were stocked (pots pans etc). Good things----Cabin is next to bathhouse and bathhouse is clean and looks very nice for me and my son to take showers. Cabin was enjoyable as it... More

I recently spent 7 nights at Moonshine RV park. This was my sister's 2nd trip and on her recommendation, my first. I was not disappointed. The scenery was beautiful, the staff extremely helpful and the newly renovated Bathhouse exceptional. It is relatively close to many tourist attractions. What made it special for me was the stream that passes behind most... More

Moonshine Creek has an awesome summer climate at 3200 ft. elevation, the best bathhouse in the U.S. (just renovated, it is wonderful), new washers and dryers, and a very laid back atmosphere. we have been going there for years, and will continue to do so. getting back to nature can't get much better than this. Be prepared for tight turns... More

Campground sites are small and tight to get into. Not a kid friendly campground. Speed limit thru out campground is 5mph and employee's working at campground were riding around on golf carts with pedal to floor speeding around campground. Campground is run down, weeds everywhere and rotten decks and landscaping. Some gray headed man that works at campground was going... More

Moonshine Creek is a nice quite family campground tucked away in the mountains on a rushing creek. Most of our campers come for the beautiful surroundings, the sounds of the creek, the peaceful atmosphere, and the great location. To maintain a nice atmosphere for all of our campers and for safety reasons we do not allow children in the creek... More

We had a great time at Moonshine Creek. our campsite was right on the creek. The sound of the water tumbling over the rocks put us to sleep every night for two months. The owners Jim and Dana did everything they could to make our stay memorable. I would also like to praise their choice of people for the work... More
