5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

We stayed here for two nights in early October 2014 and I wished we would have stayed here our entire trip. We stayed at 4 different campgrounds in the area and this was our favorite by far! The campsites are incredibly clean (they came by to empty out our fire pit ashes every morning) and ready for our arrival (not... More

Staff were terrific. Stream located feet from the back of our camper so we could hear the creek all the time. Other guest were considerate and friendly. Great clean restrooms, laundry and grounds. Campground sites beautiful. Had covered tent sites.

My husband and I LOVED our site, the staff and overall weekend stay! We were there the first weekend in October. The campgrounds and bathrooms are so well kept and clean! We had a nice leisurely stroll around the campground and enjoyed nature. We can't wait to go back with the kids, they will LOVE it too!!

A few weeks ago I told my husband I wanted to go tent camping. Husband, kids & grandkids thought I had lost my mind because we had never camped before. But, we bought a tent, cook stove, & found the old air mattress & made reservations at Moonshine Creek based upon others' reviews. We were welcomed better than family by... More

Husband and I were there from Oct. 4th thru the 8th, WONDERFUL campground! Clean bathrooms, clean shower house, laundry mat, warm wonderful staff. Some of the tent sites are small, consult the facility map and choose wisely or ASK them! Dana once informed it would be just my Husband and I on a romantic rugged getaway for two, immediately booked... More

My husband and I stayed the month of August (2014) at Moonshine Creek campground. We're full time RV'ers. We had a great experience. Full hook-up with 50 amp. service. Beautiful setting, calming sound from the creek, and alot of shade from mature trees. The campground is at 3200 feet in elevation. Our high tempature for August was 81, with low... More

Our group initially booked two cabins and a tent site for our two military families traveling from the Camp Lejuene USMC Marine Corps base. We had a total of 12 in our entire group. Two side by side cabins were perfect for our families to be close enough together, with perfect space apart to enjoy our camping festivities together as... More

The owners of this campground are the nicest people you will ever meet. Jim personally lent me his hammer and hatchet to chop firewood with, as well as some lighter fluid and parachute cords. There are several scenic tent sites to choose from, some of which have very convenient shelters in case you want to avoid the rain. The showers... More

We spent a night tent camping here and it's a beautiful place tucked away in the mountains. Nice staff, nice campers, well kept property. Tent camping area was nearly empty so the staff allowed us to pick any site we wanted. Went for pretty site right next to the creek.
