We stayed at this koa for the first time this September. we arrived afterhours and were unable to check in that night. the next morning when i checked in the staff was rude, grumpy and unhelpful. I am a KOA employee and if i treated my customers the way that i was treated i would be FIRED! more

We stayed on one of the lakes, in a Truck Camper. Our stay was peaceful and relaxing, no bad campers anywhere near us. We fished for a short time but didn't catch anything. We stated at this KOA in the spring and the location is very easy to get to and the camping is a bit tight but not bad for KOA. The train is a hit with the kids as it is easy to see from the main KOA area. At night the noise from a Bar right next to this campground... more

This is a great campground if you like Asheville because it's close to Asheville. We brought my neice and nephew and they had a great time too. Employees were very friendly, bathrooms clean. We stayed our motorhome and we liked this place, would go back again. more

I have stayed here twice and this time I stayed here in order to attend Homecoming at my Alma Mater. The staff is always friendly and the bathrooms are always clean. We stayed in one of the one room kamp Kabin. The Kabin was nice and the heat worked great. Campground was clean, nice size. The bathhouse and restrooms were older ones. If you like the sounds of a train whistle at midnight and six in the morning this is the place for you. I can say one thing the staff... more
