We stayed at the Sea Trail Resort for a 20 person 4-day golf outing. Each group stayed in a connected pair of two bedroom units; a Villa and a Mini Suite. The Mini was exactly what it sounds like, a small sleeping area with a small TV and a small kitchenette with a small sink, microwave, and a refrigerator. The... More

Let me start positive. Sea Trails has nice landscape. The staff was friendly. The meals at the Magnolia were good. The place was a bit dirty throughout with the exception of the convention center. Cobwebs through out and mildewed outdoor furniture. The walls and doorways were also a bit dirty. There seems to be a mix of retro buildings and... More

Dear Jennifer, Thank you for reviewing Sea Trail, we apologize that your unit was not up to our usual high standards. We are taking steps to ensure timely maintenance of our accommodations. Please keep in mind that our condos are all privately owned and decorated by the owners. This year, we are encouraging all of our owners to upgrade furniture,... More

We had the pleasure of coordinating and attending a marriage retreat which was held at Sea Trail Golf Resort. Working with Donna Rabon was an awesome pleasure! Upon arrival at the convention center, Krystal and her entire front desk staff were pleasant to work with, very accommodating and extremely professional. The service we experienced from the Sea Trail staff for... More

We happened upon this resort after searching for 4 hours in Myrtle Beach for a hotel, due to our first hotel having roaches. We arrived at 4 am exhausted, the lady at the front was very friendly, even at that hour of night. We didnt really get to enjoy the room, since we only had 4-11am checkout, but it was... More

My first impression of the property was very positive. Although the carpeting was dirty, I gave them leeway as it is the end of the season and expected that would be rectified this fall. I traveled with my sister and we enjoyed having separate bedrooms with a common living area. However, my bedroom had some aesthetic issues that need to... More

We rented a very affordable mini-suite for two nights. Even though I had stayed here before, it was always with a larger group in a nicer condo, so I didn't know what to expect. The room was surprisingly spacious for the price, with a separate kitchenette and sitting area. We were just ten minutes from the beach, and with three... More

What a nice surprise!! This villa was so comfortable, clean and inviting. Plus, it was very close to the activity center and the pool was gorgeous. Found as leaving myrtle beach and looking for a place to spend the night. Will stay there again when we visit Sunset Beach. Great for golfers.

We stayed at Sea Trails in Sunset Beach NC while my husband attended a conference. The name is misleading as you can't see the sunset & are not directly on the beach. Disappointment #1. They rent out condos that, I assume are privately owned. The units we have stayed in are old & have not been updated which is okay... More

This place is very run down and desolate. Stayed here not by choice, was there for a company function. The mini-suites and villas haven't been updated since the 80s. Shag carpet, double bed, everything is 20-30 years old. Cobwebs all over the windows, dead roaches on the floor, wasn't sure if the comforter had been washed in the last year.... More

Dear Angie, I apologize that your stay was not all that you expected it to be. Break-ins into cars is an unusual occurrence at Sea Trail. We are taking steps to increase security. Also, it is unfortunate that you felt it was a desolate area Just a 2 minute drive south of us is Calabash, NC, famous for its unique... More

The property is beautiful. The staff that have greeted us at the Activities Center have been gracious and very helpful. They have been friendly and made us feel welcomed. The grounds are well maintained and pleasant to walk or bike around. The location is spot on. We are minutes from everywhere. Sun, fun and great fun are just around the... More
