Planned a family camping trip. Saw the pictures of this campground and thought how lovely. Wow, not sure when those photos were taken but certainly not recently. Driving in to the campground prepare for a berage of potholes. Apparently the owners think filling in potholes cost too much money. Camp sites have absolutely no privacy and overlook the "stocked", (not... More

After researching the information, dates, etc. of this review, I have not been able to match the customer with any reservation we had at the time this person indicated they were here. I have to ask if the reviewer stayed in July of 2014 and was so dissatisfied why did they wait until March 21, 2015 to write a review?... More

If your looking for quiet and solitude, this would be the place. No much amenities. No one really cooks out, has campfires, no activities. However, the bath houses are very clean. Not sure we'd come back.

Thanks to "Very Quiet" for their comments. Their stay was in October, 2014. This is a quite campground and for most of our customers that is what they tell us they like. Past experience has shown that the beach, fishing and golfing is what our customers' come for. We do try to leave it up to them to spend their... More

I made a reservation less than a week ago for one of their cabins. There is a 48 hour cancellation policy, which in most cases, means 48 hours prior to check in. I was told that my last day to cancel was yesterday (which would have been 72 hours earlier), and that the policy was 48 hours from the DAY... More

Every hospitality business has some sort of cancellation policy and they can vary. Our policy has been the same for years. It is posted on our website under RATES, it is on all reservation confirmations when a reservation is made. When a reservation is made within the cancellation time period for the requested site, then of course it is not... More

We planned to check in a little early (which is usually not a big deal at a campground) so I called prior to arriving to make sure that our reserved spot was open. I was assured it was open and checking in wouldnt be a problem, as long as I did not show up during lunch time. When I showed... More

We travel by RV and stay in many campgrounds along the eastern shore. Usually we are met by the campground host. We never met or saw the host the entire weekend. The campsites need to be reconfigured because the location of the concrete picnic tables and fire rings are not located For convenient use. Camp trash totes were not emptied... More

We stayed here for 4 nights due to a ball tournament. I don't stay in motels unless I have no choice, so my family and I decided to camp with 5 other families from the ballteam. Positives: This campground is a very nice clean campground. Not big at all, but have spacious enough room on campsites. Ok size pool, nice... More

Stayed 4 nights in a tent. Nice staff, very clean, well kept facilities and grounds. Showers and restrooms were clean and well kept. Pool is small, but nice. Close to beautiful beaches and amenities. Myrtle Beach was a short drive also. Area has plenty to do.

All in all this was a good overall visit. We found this campground online and based our decision to stay on reviews from this site. We are new to RVing so wanted a good park with lots of space, close to beach, and also a decent bathhouse, which this had. Online reservations worked but did not really indicate the correct... More

Our family camps here at least a week during the summer in tents and we have in a cabin. The only icky thing was the spiders in the cabin that would come out when you turned the lights out, be its a cabin and thats to be expected. Our family consisted of 7 people: 2 adults and 5 kids, age... More

We stayed here Mother's Day Weekend. Mom and Dad had a camper on the RV side and my husband and I and 2 kids aged 10 and 12 - and two small dogs had an awesome tent site at the end of the small lake. A small campground, very quiet. Great fishing. pool and playground. The bathrooms were very clean.... More
