Not exactly the Bates Motel, but close. The parking lot needed work and landscaping. The door to our room looked like it was covered with dirty handprints and when we went inside, the walls looked dirty also. The room smelled musty and when we turned on the A/C, it was really loud. There was a huge, new TV with lots... more

We stopped here on the way to our trip to Florida, since it was a Days Inn we thought it would be decent and clean to get some rest. OMG! we were wrong! the carpets were so disgusting!. My kids socks and our feet were black as tar!. I hadto spread the towels out on the floor so we could... more

I travel on business and pay all my own expenses so I am always looking for a good value. During a recent trip I had the pleasure of staying at the Days Inn in Statesville, NC and came away impressed with what they had to offer. The check-in process was very quick and the staff friendly. My room, a basic... more

This hotel was so bad we finally got up and continued to drive because I was afraid to go to sleep!!! There was about a four inch gap between the bottom of the door and the floor. There was a lot of traffic in the parking lot, mainly truck drivers all night. The room was very dirty and musty. The... more

This location is truly a dump! We reserved a non-smoking room, however, it reeked of stale and fresh smoke. All furnishings were in very poor condition; missing light bulbs, broken furniture, cracked walls, chipped sink and tub, the commode was loose at the base, and the towel rack literally fell to the floor. Definitely a place to avoid! more

The day started off good, got up around 7am, went out until 3pm and came back. I noticed room service had been there while I was gone. So I took a shower, then while waiting on my friends to come and goto the pool, I sat on the bed and straightened my wallet, I always like having my money in... more

I just finished a review about the Days Inn in Gettysburg, Pa. In it. I noted that Days Inns run to mediocre, some better than that and some worse. This one, I'd say, is low mediocre, but not as bad as some have made it out to be;. The owners are in the process of renovating the rooms, but with... more

We stayed here for one night. It was the longest night ever. The room was not clean. Our room faced the highway and all night I heard the big trucks. I put my "Do Not Disturb" sign on my doorknob while I went to breakfast. When I came back there was an employee in my room. He was trying to... more

I have worked in the hotel/motel industry for the better part of 30 years. In all my expierence I have never been in or visited a property that i could not relax in. It was late when we arrived. I made my rservations through travelocityand could not believe tht the room was not what I expected. The air conditioner was... more

My room was spotless; the sheets were delightful, the towels were acceptable. There was even (free) wifi. However, the wall paper was peeling, the veneer on the bathroom (hollow core) door was fraying, the air conditioner made so much noise that it was almost impossible to sleep. The complimentary breakfast (some muffins, a few pastries, fruit flavored breakfast drink, coffee... more
