We spent one night at the Pine Valley Motel in August, 2009. It is an older property that physically is unattractive. The "lawn" is a paved parking lot off of the highway. Two couples of us stayed at the Pine Valley in August 2009. The woman at the front desk checked our reservations and checked us in promptly. Wound up in Spruce Pine, NC VERY tired after being up all day and all night the night before. Found Pine Valley Motel, in tiny Spruce Pine, NC, very close to restaurants, shops, service stations, etc. Friday night before Valentine's Day, 1 with double bed ran us $80 after all taxes and fees.
