We had a very spacious room and bathroom. We slept well and the place is clean. The lady at the desk was efficient and gave us a little bit of history of the area. There is no breakfast offered but there is WiFi. This motel has three different buildings which were built at different times. Might be the reason for... More

I needed a place to stay over night and stayed at the Pine Valley motel. Very friendly staff and very clean room. No extra whistles and bells but a good nights sleep, clean room and shower. I would stay here again, it is near several restuarants.

Stayed here recently, paid 85 for one night after being quoted 80, apparently this is the kinda of cheep dive that charges for extra people. They have the worst beds but new electronic door locks. lol. The beds were sooo uncomfortable, like feel the springs uncomfortable. It was akin sleeping on a trampoline.

trad style motel in useful but grotty location; however, plenty of parking space and Pizza Hut next door so, if tired after travelling, you could walk next door. Rooms clean and basic. Recommend only one night on the beds!

This place offers basic accommodation in traditional open corridor style rooms. The rooms were dark and the beds old and worn and a bit uncomfortable but, despite that, it offers clean accommodation for a night's sleep.

The ladies in the office were very nice and friendly. Our room was neat, clean, and quiet, complete with fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker. We were only there one night but were thankful for such a nice place to stay in an area where no chain motels were to be found.

We stayed at Pine Valley Motel on a field trip with our 5th grader. It is not a place I would have chosen on my own but I would definitely stay here again if I am in Spruce Pine. While not a luxury hotel the room was exceptionally clean and everything was in good repair. The hotel staff was friendly... More

After checking into the Spruce Pine Motel in the downtown area and finding mouse droppings and lower body hair on the sheets, we moved over to the Pine Valley. Walking into the ofice, the smell of cigarettes almost knocked us out to start with. The woman at the front counter really didn't want to be there from her attitude. Told... More

This motel is what I call a diamond in the rough. Although the outer appearance is dated the interior was both spacious and clean. Bring a pair of binoculars to watch TV from bed, my flat screen TV was smaller than most computer moniters these days, but the sheets, blankets, and all linens were clean. The carpet didn't require shower... More
