We chose the Family 5-Day Package Deal for $700 and stayed in the Rivers Edge Bottom Cabin from Sunday to Friday morning. The cabin has a full kitchen, living room, dining room, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. Upstairs has the same thing and can be connected/joined by opening the stair doors. Included in our package was one gem bucket from... More

We have a 30 foot Class-C Motorhome and there is no way I would take it into the campground area. There are low overhanging trees over the road and the road is narrow with tree limbs sticking out from the sides. The camp sites are hardly marked, not level, washed out, odd sizes and way to small. The road was... More

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize that not all amenities at Springmaid Mountain were to your satisfaction. We do strive to accommodate each guest but acknowledge that we have limitations in our campground areas. A 30 foot Motorhome like yours is on the maximum end for what our property can best accommodate. We do have larger camper sites and... More

Let me begin by saying that the only experience I have had with this venue was taking my 2 little grand daughters riding there. It is not easy to find but boy, what a spot. I can still see the smile on the two little girls' faces. There are no ponys, but the full growen horses are calm enough that... More

Thank you for bringing your granddaughters out to ride at Springmaid Mountain. Our horses are gentle enough for even young riders like your girls and we are glad they enjoyed themselves. Please come back and visit again! More

I booked an RV site at their campground because our fist pick was full. Booking was easy with a very friendly staff and also very affordable compared to other campgrounds in the area. Heres the down sides, Bad points: 1. This place is VERY difficult to find if you have never been there! My gps did not even recognize the... More

We've been taking our family on vacations here for years and it's a favorite vacation spot. The cabins are not luxurious, but they have everything you need and are clean. The grounds are generally quite and peaceful. There is a nice hiking path you can walk on, several fishing ponds and a river on the grounds. A Walmart is located... More

We stayed at the cabins as we traversed the Blue Ridge parkway with my father, husband and son. The cabins were well equipped but tranquil and a great spot to unwind after a long day on the road. They would be just as great for a longer stay ( and we were very tempted to extend our stay).

I rented one of the Whispering Pines cabins to stay and cook in while attending 3 separate family reunions over the weekend August 8-12, 2013. My husband and I shared the 2 bedroom + loft cabin with another 3 other couples. The privacy of the two bedrooms was great. The couples who slept in the loft as well as in... More

The cabins were wonderful. Everything was equipped and the wood stove was a plus. Too bad they didn't have a supply of fire wood but we got some in town. Walmart is only about 10 minutes away if anything is needed.

Springmaid Mountain is a beautiful place to stay if you're looking to be in the midst of nature. My parents, my son and I stayed here last week for a few days. The 2-BR cabin was the perfect size for us, and we loved the rocking chair porch that overlooked a pond. My son had a ball playing in the... More

My husband and I just had the most amazing wedding weekend at Springmaid Mountain. The location (while difficult to get to for some of our guests - make sure NOT to use GPS - use website directions or call to get detailed directions from Springmaid staff) was absolutely beautiful and met all of our needs and more. Angie and Joe... More
