We booked this place for a weekend in Southport and were not disappointed. It was small but that was okay we didn't spend that much time inside anyway. I would happily go back to this place for another weekend stay!

Once again we had a great trip. Gary, Justin and Jeanine took great care of us. Chad and Joe were playing Golf. Sure. How was the Masters? If you are looking for a clean, comfortable and resonably priced room this is the place. Weather not the best but the shopping was. Walked everywhere. Shout out to Tim and Mango too.... More

My husband and I stayed here this weekend to tour the area where "Safe Haven" was filmed. This room added to the charm of our trip! It was cute and quaint and the perfect setting for our weekend romantic get-a-way. The staff is amazing and passionate about the town of Southport. The inn is within walking distance to the downtown... More

We stayed here this past weekend. Our first time. It is a cozy place. I love that you can walk and not have to drive a lot. We stayed in Room 8 on Saturday. On Sunday we spent all day at the beach. On our return to our room... The cold water to the shower would not turn off...we called... More

Our family stayed in the efficiency apartment this weekend and were pleasantly surprised. It had all the comforts of home at a fantastic price. CLEAN and owner was very friendly and welcoming. 3 TVs/ DVD players, 2 double beds, fouton and full kitchen for less than a basic chain hotel room. Location was fabulous as well. We will definitely return!

I really enjoy staying at the Inn at River Oaks. The first time I went was with my family and the second time was with my girlfriend. The owners/managers are very nice and accommodating. The room rates are fairly inexpensive and everything is walking distance. It's perfect for a weekend getaway at Southport.

Friendly and accommodating reception. Family-run style of rooms, self renovated and with a view to details. Mixture of old furniture, don't expect flat screen TV or modern bedding. But nicely appointed and clean. No breakfast. Central location within the city. Overall reasonable value for money. In comparison to other motels in Southport definitely one of the better choices.

I stayed here for 8 weeks for work, and it truly became my home away from home. The rooms are small, but the Inn is quaint and very quiet. It's a family-friendly location with posted quiet hours, and it's also pet-friendly. While here, you'll be within walking distance of most of South port's shopping district, as well add the water... The Inn is a small hidden gem located right on the main street of town. White three small buildings providing a quaint feel. We stayed at the Inn for our Wedding Anniversary weekend. We were greeted warmly by Zeke who was happy to offer suggestions on places to eat and sites to see. This was our first visit to Southport... More
