My wife and I have eaten here on several occasions. At first, I was a bit wary of the price- $27.00 pp- since we classify ourselves as "thrifty travelers". However, as it will become apparent, I have nothing negative to say about this well-known Sunday extravaganza in the Pinehurst area. Let's start with the View: We recommend that you select... More

Went with a group to golf at Mid Pines and Pine Needles. Staff were welcoming but on arrival in the room found worn carpeting, chipped furniture and a beautiful view of the 18 th hole. Room appeared clean but did find a dead cockroach in the very tiny bathroom along with rusted pipes. Also after golf the first day, we... More

Lets be honest you probably are coming to Pinehurst N.C. to play golf. You won't be disappointed with the golf course and the golf setting at Mid Pines Inn and Golf Club. The hotel reeks (in a positive way) of tradition and 'golf'. From the lobby to the bar, to the game room and dining room you will feel that... More

As part of a small group of gals from New Hampshire this spring, this spot could not have been better. The hotel was charming and the staff incredibly welcoming. It 'speaks' tradition at every corner...The dining room, the living room, the lounge, the porch....wow. What is a hallmark of a good staff is that no one ever passes you in... More

While the golf course at Mid-pines Inn showed its best in pale pink and white dogwoods and snappy, joyful fresh spring green, inside the inn another story was happening. The rooms and common spaces are trapped in a faux chintz, pseudo country club era in great need of refurbishment. Entering the lobby, a disturbingly sweet type of fragrance wafts into... More

Stayed in a cabin off the golf course with a group of 14. Quiet and rustic. Service was great and the golfing was terrific. Preferred Pine Needles to Mid Pine course but they are both great. Food was great as well. Would definitely return.

The Mid-Pines Inn is a beautiful historic country club, that sadly has fallen in a state of disrepair. While the first floor, grounds, and golf course are really charming and well maintained, the guest rooms above need a major overhaul. The hallways and rooms look to have been painted over and over and over again. The carpet in the rooms... More

Had dinner in the lounge area and a lovely night's stay. Of course, it was off season, but it was very quiet and lovely. The food was very good, the service was excellent. We did not play golf, but have had it recommended to us.

Traveling on business and conference was being held at Pine Needles Lodge across the street which required overflow to be reserved at the historic building of Mid Pines Inn. Beautiful historic golf course and scenery but the actual building is another story. The walls were razor thin and the accomodations were beyond dated. My bathroom was really bad, bedding didn't... Take a trip back in time and fall in love with Mid Pines. The golf course is amazing, the food is great, the staff is sweet, and the Inn has enough charm to knock your nickers off! Nothing is updated nor new, but I would like it less if it was. I'm not a tall guy, so the beds and... More
