Now both good and bad here. First what was good Excellent staff and customer service overall. Each member of the staff was friendly and accommodating. The course is excellent to play for top and beginner golfers. Don't shy away from this place if your an average golfer. The burger here is actually one if the best anywhere. Now the not... More

Stayed at Pine Needles Resort during the US Kids World Golf Tournament last weekend. What a nice stay! I did not get to play the course, which is a well known Donald Ross designed classic that has hosted three US Women's Opens in the last fifteen years, but did stay at the lodge and frequented the restaurants and lounge. We... More

Nice place. PKB, she's a classic. Rooms ok. Dated 70s look of property. Fine if you are staying on property. They need a shuttle to Village. Annoying key cards to access rooms. Bar area is nice. Golf course excellent.

Unfortunately, I have not had the opportunity to stay at this resort. I called to reserve a room. The phone was answered by a gentleman who was obviously not at all pleased that I had interrupted his evening. I said "Yes, I am calling to reserve a room. I understand from your website that you accept pets. Is that still... More

This really is a review of the dining room/bar at Pine Needles, not the hotel itself. My family has been a customer at Pine Needles for more than a decade and we've enjoyed many a fine evening there. Over the past five or six years, however, I think we have seen a gradual decline in the quality of the service... More

We were there (over 120 WOMEN) for a wonderful day on Feb 22. I was in charge of getting ladies supplies dropped off and getting them to the parking lot. I was SO HAPPY to have the staff there to help me. They followed the cars to the lots and brought them back to the club house in a golf... More

Recently spent 2 nights at Pine Needles for a wedding. The first night was fine, had a nice dinner in the lounge, service was slow but food was good. Day 2 - breakfast service was EXTREMELY slow but again food was at least good. Rooms are ok, nothing fancy but for the price it's decent. Night 2 it started raining... More

I try to stay here every year for a quick golf getaway. It always has that great "Golf Lodge" feel and a sense of history about it! Rooms are a little quirky, but always very clean and great TV and internet service. Lots of smaller buildings, putting greens and very nice main lodge (a classic). Bar is great, food is... More

Pine Needles has become our Christmas night & post-Christmas destination for the past 2 Christmases, and I HOPE it will become a yearly tradition. It is a wonderful Donald Ross golf facility, having been established by Peggy Kirk Bell, a member of the Women's Golf Hall of Fame, and it continues to be operated by her son-in-law & daughter, Kelly...
