The good - wonderful host, excellent breakfast, pretty room, and grounds the not as good - no television, due to timing of our visit, in June, ticks were out in force, and we were advised not to go on the nature trail, and be careful in the gardens. more

We had a wonderful long weekend trip and thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality and great food at the Bed and Breakfast at Laurel Ridge. We would highly recommend this getaway for a relaxing weekend or longer stay. The Rose Suite is particularly spacious with a forest view and beautiful with the wood beamed ceiling. It is evident that the chef takes... more

My wife and I are photographers in TN and we had a wedding in Raleigh. I surprised my wife with a little romantic getaway and cane cross Laurel-Ridge. It was by far the best place we've ever stayed. It is on a gorgeous secluded price of land that upon entering you feel like you've stepped into a beautiful mountain oasis.... more

My fiance and I stayed at Laurel Ridge this past Memorial Day weekend and had a wonderful experience. The inn is very quaint and somewhat off the beaten path. The rooms are nicely appointed, as well as being impeccably clean. One of the nicest features about the property is that the owner's residence are right next to the main guest... more

What a wonderful Bed and Breakfast tuched away in a forest of hardwoods. A short distance down the narrow drive through the woods began our one night stay. My daughter and I stayed in the cabin which is located right next to the main Inn. We were promply greeted by David who made us feel right at home. The cottage... more

We stayed on a Thursday night and were the only ones there. It was wonderful! I had went to their website and looked at the pictures of the rooms before making... more

I stayed in the cabin for one night at Laurel Ridge in January 2008. It was very peaceful and the screened-in backporch provided privacy and tranquility. I'm sure it would be great to stay in the cabin when the weather warms up, but it was a bit chilly when I was there to fully enjoy it. The bathroom was large... more

We stayed in the Carolina Cottage for 2 days after our wedding and it was perfect- very quiet and looked just like the pictures. It is very close to the main house. Dave made us a tasty and quick breakfast every morning- served on local pottery. We were the only guests (we stayed on a Monday & Tuesday night). The... more
