It's even better the second time b/c the first time we stayed with Barbara, Suzanne, Daisy and Duke was w/o exception. Read the reviews and you'll see what we mean b/c it's a respite we find relaxing and therapeutic when we venture into the NC heartland. Pottery or NC Zoo it's the place to go, and the sisters are everything... More

This B&B was in a lovely old house run by 2 sisters from New York(I think), who had decided to become B&B hosts in their "golden" years. They did a lot of research before making the changes that they have and as a result the attention to detail and running is superb. Seagrove itelf does not appear to have a... More

The Duck Smith House B&B is run by sisters, Barbara and Suzanne who definitely know about warm hospitality and comfort. The house is wonderfully restored and has everything you want and need; rooms are immaculate, down to the ironed sheets. Breakfast was wonderful and very sufficient for even a big eater but it's also customized to your appetite, fresh and... More

This was our first experience with a B&B. We had no idea what to expect but from the moment we arrived until our departure we were treated like family. Suzanne & Barbara were so friendly and inviting. Their house was cozy, charming and impeccably clean. They have pottery displayed from various potters in the area. Nature was abound outside their... My wife and I recently stayed a few days at the Duck Smith House B&B. We have stayed at numerous B&B's over the years, yet the Duck Smith would be rated one of our best experiences. The owners, Barbara & Suzanne have a great B&B and were very hospitable. They gave us numerous suggestions for places to visit and eat... More

I just recently stayed at this extremely lovely, utterly delightful, impeccably clean, peacefully quiet, deliciously-prepared full breakfast Inn and cannot ever remember being greeted and treated with such warmth, love and knowledge as with these two host sisters have shown. There were only a couple of B&B's to choose from in this small town of Seagrove (very close to the... More

Overall, my stay was wonderful and I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast! Rooms: I stayed in the Carolina Room which is on the first floor. It is to your immediate left when you enter the house. Unfortunately it is also right by the stairs. When taking a nap or trying to go to sleep at night I heard... More

I was having Bucket Buddy Deprivation....we are four friends that are doing things together from our bucket lists.......our last adventure, hot air ballooning, got rained out.....so I needed a dose of chuckles with my BFFs that did not involve some life threatening escapade......I live four hours away from them so we decided something somewhere in between us would be appropriate......so... My husband and I found this gem about 5-6 years ago and we keep coming back. The B&B is not only beautiful , the breakfasts are phenomenal and like no other we have had in other B&B s. The owners are not only gracious , warm, kind and full of fascinating facts about the history of the home and the... More

We have stayed at the inn several times. We usually stop on our way to the beach. The inn is very nice and has the most comfortable beds. The breakfasts are delicious. The ladies who run the B&B, Barbara & Suzanne, are two of the sweetest people you would ever want to meet.
