I am a Fairfield timeshare owner, and I stayed a week at this site. The condo was large, and had great wooded views. The recreation and community centers are the fantastic! Clean pools, free putt-putt, free pool and ping-pong, free internet. At cost video games, DVD rentals, $10 library deposit (give me a break-these are donated books!) MY only complaint... more

We stayed a week in the "resort" and were sadly disappointed. The first unit they gave us had a stove in two pieces and was filthy so they moved us next door. This was ok but after the first night with the temperature around 50 at night we did not realize that the AC did not work. We attempted calling... more

We are timeshare owners with Fairfield/Wyndham. Sapphire Valley was the first trip we booked using our points. I called the resort before we left home to ask questions about the layout so that we could bring the right equipment with us. We have young teenagers that don't always want to habng out with mom and dad. We were told that... more

We recently purchased a timeshare at this resort on eBay... sight unseen. We have a fixed unit (2-Bedroom, 2 Bath) and a fixed week (wk 50). We were looking for a mid-winter get-away. WE certainly found it at Fairfield Sapphire Valley. When we arrived we were very pleased and somewhat surprised at the exceptional size, quality, condition and layout of... more

We are Fairfield (Wyndham) owners. After reading some negative reviews about this resort, I was concerned. Wyndham explained that not all properties at the resort are owned by Wyndham and that Wyndham's properties were up to their standards. They were correct. We stayed at Mountain Laurel Villas and reserved an A and B unit. The A unit was spacious and... more

We are from the UK and have recently returned from a timeshare exchange. We were accommodated in a one-bed, full kitchen unit in Mountain Laurel villas. After reading this site about 2 weeks before travelling we were quite worried but the reality was excellent. The unit was spacious, comfortable and very clean and we had everything we needed. We enjoyed... more

What a pleasant surprise Fox Hunt at Fairfield Sapphire Valley was. We booked 2-2 bedroom units through our time share with Wyndham/Fairfield to take our family who lives in South Carolina to. Then we read the reviews. We were worried. We informed the family that we'd make the best of it no matter what the facilities turned out to be.... more

Decent little resort plenty to do my wife and I with our two boys & who are 6 & 4. The rooms were fairly clean with plenty of room.We went Fishing, hiking and checking out the area spots. Lots of fun we are planning to come back during the winter months to do a little skiing and see some snow. more

My inlaws gave us a week at their timeshare via RCI. We booked at the Fairway Forest portion on Fairfield, prior to reading the reviews on TripAdvisor. Once we read the reviews we tried changing our resort but were unable to. We were VERY glad we didn't change. We got there early Friday evening and went to check in only... more

Wow! I wish I had read these reviews before we went. We went to our unit and walked in the front door only to find stuff all over the entry floor. Upon further examination of the unit, we discovered that it hadn’t been swept. I immediately had to vacuum because we have a one and a half year old and... more
