Amazing view...the rooms were extremely clean (100% sanitation score!) and the beds were very comfortable. We stayed in two connecting rooms. Both rooms had a microwave, refrigerator, and a (clean!) coffeepot. The rooms we stayed in also had back doors which opened to the firepit/outdoor game area. A beautiful mountain view is visible from both the front and back door--the... More

We stayed here for one night passing thru NC. The inn keepers were wonderful and the view is amazing. When you look at the pictures it looks like a motel, but it is so much nicer than that! We love to stay in B &B's and this was one of the best. Instead of breakfast in the morning, you get... More

Every room is on one floor so at first glimpse it seemed like a glorified motel, but turned out much better than imagined. The best view is actually out the back, near the firepit which they light in the evenings. All the ingredients you need for s'mores are there for your use, as well as games in the rec room... More

This is a hidden gem in the North Carolina Foot Hills. It is run by a real family that treats you like family. Wendy and Wayne greet you when you arrive and do everything to make your stay special. The biggest attraction for me was the uncluttered view of the Green River Gorge. It looks like the Grand Canyon with... More

Stayed for a night to kayak the Green River the next morning early. Check-in was a little slow but the super cute, comfy room made up for the short delay. The BEST part were the s'mores in the "backyard" ...Loved it!! The first hotel ever to offer this amenity and it was great. The view of the mountains from the... More

The owners (Wayne and Wendy) are the epitome of hospitality, and it's obvious they truly love running their lodge. We were only in the area for one night, celebrating our anniversary and were very pleased with our stay. It is an older property but is very well maintained, extremely clean, and nicely decorated with lots of cozy, mountain charm. The... More

Pros: Nice rooms, nice views, comfortable beds, very friendly owners. Cons: These days, could use a few more outlets for charging electronics. Wayne and Wendy are very friendly and own and operate this motel with their family. Their hospitality is wonderful and the rooms are very up to date and comfortable. The two of us were looking for a inexpensive... More

From the late check-in with cheerful faces and dragging our tired crew into a beautifully decorated room to the restful sleep on the comfortable beds to waking up to a breathtaking view of the mist rising above the mountain ranges behind the lodge, every aspect of our stay at the Saluda Mountain Lodge was fantastic. The sweet family that own/operate... More

Couple looking for a one night stay in Saluda. Our entire experience, from booking the room to check out, was fantastic. This place is small business at its finest. Owners are very friendly and accommodating. Stayed in deluxe queen room with door to the backyard. Room was newly renovated, super clean, and "cute" (according to female). Bed was very comfortable.... More

Not your regular roadside or corporately owned place to stay! The rooms are beautiful country cosy style and exceptionally clean. The owners couldn't be nicer or more accommodating. Highly recommend!!!!
