The restaurant-part of the hotel seems to be under new management. They have nicely re-decorated the dining area. Nice seating, good colours, clean and a welcoming reception/ordering bar. Pricing was very reasonable for what was offered. They had specials at lunch time and the service was very friendly and proud to be there. Definitely a more glamorous place than it... More

Gingin hotel has great food, friendly staff, and an amazing atmosphere! It was only about 40 minutes from Joondalup.. and well worth the trip! They have a massive veranda, kids corner, grass area with soccer goals set up, jarrah featured bar and tables, wood heater etc!

Rude and unhelpful staff. Room in cheaply-constructed, dilapidated building. Squeaky old bed. It really was laughable. Meal in hotel restaurant was adequate, though basic. Wildly overpriced. Best idea is to drive past Gingin.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch after a motorcycle ride and were pleasantly surprised by this pub. One of the nicest country pubs we have been to in WA. The steaks were cooked as we asked and a nice glass of cold beer & wine. We found out that it has new owners Simone, Renée & Wal who... More

The hotel is welcoming. Good cold beer. Huge dining area (outdoor terrace) excellent meals and great value for money. Accomodation is basic, clean and sufficient for your needs (unless you are a snob of course). Excellent local wines

Gorgeous pub, friendly service, decent price. Garlic bread was lovely but chicken pizza was just loads of cheese with the unrest amount of chicken :( good presentation though and all the staff were lovely

Meals were good and a decent size, the pub is quite large but the atmosphere was nice. Lady behind the bar was pleasant and polite. We ate early on a Saturday night so the place was almost empty but we think it would be a good location for a large group to meet at.

We stayed in one of the motel units (two adults and two young children). We had a double bed and a single bed. The kind staff member put a fold away bed in for one of our boys. We only stayed for one night (to visit the observatory) but it was great. Very basic, but clean and comfortable and great... More

We decided to drive up to the Gingin area looking for wildflowers, we took the dog with us as he didn't want to stay home alone all day. It was a very pleasant drive on a lovely day, when we got to Gingin, we had a bit of a walk around the Gingin brook, nicely manicured gardens, then thought it... More

Very pleasantly surprised with a Sunday lunch at the Gingin Hotel about an hour from Perth. Original country pub decor and traditional pubgrub food. Servings were very generous and the $15 Sunday Roast was excellent value. Service was efficient and friendly . A nice easy drive from Perth.
