Lovely park after long day of driving. Amenities are spotless. Nice green grassed sites with plenty of shade. Great check in. BBQ throughout the park. Kangaroos around the park. Pet friendly. We loved our one night stay here. There is a cafe attached to reception, never ate there but others in park said they have nice meals there. There are... More

The caravan park of the Lodge is great. Shady large grass sites both powered and unpowered. Reasonable rates considering this is WA, There is a pool, bar and restaurant here. The lodge will even sell you fuel, but note it is two cents a litre dearer then what is available in town, but convenient. Only Sat TV. here and Telstra... More

The room we were given was ok, but the whole site could do with some TLC, however the staff as we have experienced in nearly every location we have stayed were very helpful. We dined in the restaurant as the bar area was extremely busy and people were starting to get a little annoyed at the delay in being served... More

We had previously stayed in Fitzroy Crossing but never in Fitzroy River Lodge. As we suspected that this would be our last visit to Australia, let alone travelling across The Kimberley, we decided to settle for the best accommodation and our studio apartment was exactly that. Jabiru was just one of two similar individual studios, perched on stilts and reached... More

Great spot by the river, staff are professional and friendly. Room was neat, tidy and quiet. The restaurant dinner was excellent. The setting was great - out on the deck under the river gums in the cool of the evening. The food was terrific. Both the steak and fish meals were great and very filling - no room for dessert.... Was delayed doing a job in Fitzroy Crossing and needed to stay overnight, rung the lodge at the last minute looking for overnight accommodation the staff were extremely helpful in servicing my request. Stayed in the Boab budget accommodation found the room to be neat/ clean and tidy, enjoyed a good night sleep. Had a meal in the front bar... More

We stayed in one of the river view rooms on stilts by the Fitzroy river. Whilst at this time of year there is no water it was still an awesome place to stay. Lovely view, comfy bed and removed from everyone else. Would definitely stay here again.

Went here after staying at the inn, the river lodge was quite peaceful, neat and tidy. Will definitely recommend to friends traveling through. Gardens were well looked after and the amenities block is fairly clean too. Restaurant was packed probably because the food was so good

The powered caravan sites are large and shady. We chose one right down the back near the fence. Not as shady but had open sky north/East and a very strong satellite signal, also lots of birds and small kangaroos to watch while having sundowners. The special $30 for 2 Barra chips and salad was good value. The ablution blocks were... More

After staying at Emma Gorge, we were expecting a similar type of experience. Sadly these tents are showing their age, with larger than pin holes all over the canvas. Two things they do have over Emma Gorge is a refrigerator in your tent as well as an air cooler. The tents are scattered over a large area. It's difficult to... More
