The hosts here were very friendly and they were always about if you needed anything. The communal kitchen for the cabins worked well, although there was only one cooker and at dinner time you may have to wait your turn. Nice seating area for eating your dinner afterwards, just for the cabins, which also had a BBQ with gas supplied.... More

Avoid. Why be in this type of business if you don't like people? Strange. Go elsewhere travellers. Spend your money elsewhere. It's a caravan park not an exclusive resort! I don't understand the way they "run" this park.

From the outside the Park doesn't look much, but what a pleasant surprise when we went in. Neat, clean sites with artificial grass for awning/annexe. New, spotless amenities, even saw the cleaners using toothbrushes on the tile grouting! Management/owners were extremely helpful and friendly. Above ground pool was spotless. A small park which caters for caravanners without children. Felt very... More

Mature aged couple seeking a couple of nights for powered site. Chose this park because only one of the two in Derby with swimming pool ( above ground and part of lodge). Park Not overly appealing on first impressions but we were provided a suitable site (synthetic grass provided for all sites for awnings) in a small but clean and... More

After camping for 3 weeks in our roof top tent it was luxury to be able to sleep in a real bed. This property is a caravan park with a few rooms available, some ensuite some with shared bathroom. The shared facilities were spotlessly clean, right outside our door, and for the exclusive use of “lodge rooms”. Also for lodge... More

My daughter and I at the lodge for three nights a couple of weeks ago while we attended a funeral. We found our room to be airy and clean. I loved the quietness and being able to soak in the pool without noisy children. We would certainly stay again. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay. Joy ayton

I stayed here for a few months for work in june and have returned on and off since, it's like my derby home away from home. Pat and Sean are friendly, helpful and I'd like to send out a massive thank you for such wonderful hospitality. The grounds are clean, neat tidy and quiet, the pool is definitely a necessity... More

We liked the fact that families and children were discouraged, for instance children are not allowed to use the pool. The pool is an above ground "Clarke" type pool, not particularly attractive, nor is the lounging around the pool area, however it was refreshing and did the job for us. The camp is well managed, very clean and tidy although... More

Lodge has caravan park for 20+ vans - very basic with no slabs, no grass but excellent ablutions. Siteas are just sand. Good water pressure. Dusty and crowded sites but did the job at reasonable price. Has dump point. Walking distance to Woolworths. Must do horizontal falls whie you're here (yes you'll need a bank loan to do so but...
