I was quite surprised at the quality of the one bedroom apartment as it is quite tired and is in dire need of renovation. One the positive side it was spacious and warm in the rooms and easy to control the radiators to the desired temperature. The location is excellent! I stayed with my family in room 509 and for... Our group of six decided unexpectedly to dine with The Black Cockatoo last night and arrived at their door without a reservation. The team could not have been more welcoming. After a 10 minute wait by the roaring fireplace (Shiraz in hand) they took us to our stunning table overlooking the entire valley. Silver service from the moment we sat... More

I know that this is on the snow and July is prime time but I feel the room was very over-priced for the standard of accommodation. Our room had fraying carpet, the cupboards were chipped and the bottom of the door splintered to a height of about 5cm-not what you expect for more than $500 per night. The bathroom was also... More

My daughter (9) and I stayed at the chalet in July 2015 and would happily stay there again. The rooms are very spacious, clean and well appointed. The staff are very attentive. Chocolates and complimentary bottles of water each night were a nice touch. The ski shop within the hotel is easy access and the staff were amazing. The equipment... More

Amazing location, just steps from Bourke St ski lifts, and village. Fantastic staff at reception - Anna, Drew, Kyle, Monique, Daniel. It was great to chat to the room division manager Paul. Easy quick check in, and staff rang us when rooms were ready. Only thing was they forgot, at check in, was Accor welcome pack, which had welcome letter,... More

Checking into the Chalet, we were impressed with the entire hotel and amenities (pool, gym, spa & sauna)! Après cafe on site is great for lunch food is delicious. Choosing to stay at this hotel is not difficult! If you're looking for location and easy access in the village. Everything is great until you go to the rooms. The king size bed was extremely uncomfortable (hard) the furniture outdated and uncomfortable. I guess if you're on the slopes skiing all day you would want a comfortable room at night.... More

The hotel is in the best location on the mountain, right next to the main lift, only 50m to the main Foodworks store, 100m from the Village Square, 200m from the bus depot, plus the Snow Play zone is only 100m away on the Valley side. Very convenient walking distance everywhere, especially if you have young children. Check in –... More

Very great location, just meters from the village and the bus depot. It is expensive and in desperate need of repair. The rooms we had have cheap wood furniture bad lighting, a carpet which looks so dirty (not sure how old the carpet is). Desperately need a reno! But the room have a great heater, i even need to open... More
