I stayed at the Chalet for three nights: the occasion was the Touratech Event 2014. Touratech is an adventure motorcycling accessory manufacturing. Bright Chalet was booked out by Touratech to accommodate about 50 motorcyclists and Touratech, BMW and Triumph staff. The Chalet pulled it off very well indeed. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, and the facilities were... More

We booked this at short notice and had read mixed reviews, but thought it was worth a try, and we are really pleased we did. There is definitely something a little 70's about the place, but that also helps give it the Chalet feel. We upgraded to a deluxe room. It had a queen bed on a mezzanine level and... More

After a long, mainly off-road trip from Tassie, and 4 nights booked into The Bright Chalet with the TouratechTravel Event, we were hoping for friendly faces, an adequate comfy room, and some decent food and company. What we got far exceeded that basic list. Michael and family ensured we had a wonderful spotless 2-storey room, it even had a balcony... More

My partner and i booked into this room thinking we would enjoy our weekend. We called up during the day to confirm check in time, and was told they have 26 rooms and only 4 cleaners.... I need 4 cleaners alone to keep my house clean, yet alone a chalet!! From the outside, you almost feel like you have walked... More

We stayed for 6 nights and had a great time with beautiful weather. The Chalet is an excellent base for enjoying the different aspects of Bright and surrounding area. It is within easy walking distance of the town, the art gallery (where the annual exhibition was on), the Ovens River where we saw a platypus every afternoon, and several other... More

We stayed here after a beautiful drive along the Alpine Way. Our tariff of $205 included dinner and breakfast for two. The food was buffet style and the staff pleasant. The room decor (upstairs) was dated which was OK. The beds however were very bad with sagging mattresses (the springs could be felt) resulting in a lack of sleep.

I went to Bright Chalet with a cycling group for five nights, and I really enjoyed it! The food was diverse and there was something new to try every night. The lasagne was amazing so I woudn't have needed anything else! The pool was fantastic after rides and we used the tennis courts, recreation room and ropes course as much... More

We have just returned from five wonderful days at the Bright Chalet, with a Probus group, we were picked up from our area, and taken back to Bright, stopping on the way. We were all greeted with friendly smiles, our room was on the ground floor, which was very comfy. Dinners at night were a home cooked meals, three courses... More
