Fantastic getaway. Trntynder lodge was perfect. Spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need to have a get break. Pets were very well catered from the very secure back yard to doggy tidy bags & bowls. The garden was beautiful and very well maintained. The lodge was close to the river which we walked along into town one morning. Such a... More

Really tasteful room/lodge in a fabulous location in Bright, a " home away from home" in the best possible sense. Tyntynder has it all, especially if you would like to be in the same location as family/ friends whilst still having your own private amenities. The garden aspect is very relaxing and great to use in the warmer months. I... More

Perfect getaway for a short break from Melbourne. Everything we needed was there. The beds and shower were fabulous. Sitting on the back deck with the birds overhead, and the sunlight filtering through the trees was very restful, and the closeness of the Ovens river to sit and reflect while watching the local birdlife, fish and platypusses was a very... Thank you Catherine and David for luxury, quality, comfort and dog-friendliness. Value for money? Worth every cent! Tyntynder Lodge had it all. We enjoyed every moment of our 3-day stay and our Labrador assured us that she would come again. Sven and Janet Eriksen, Melbourne, Australia

We were invited to share 2 days with friends and their dog at Tyntynder Lodge. It was a delightful place, very well presented and totally comfortable. Our bed was excellent and the tasteful decor made for a relaxing environment. The charming woodland backyards provided a lovely atmosphere for all. Absolutely a revisit location.

Tranquil respite. Desperately in need of break we fled to the tranquillity of Tyntynder from the busy suburban life we lead near the coast. After a few days we were able to return (albeit reluctantly ) with renewed vigour and optimism. Two dogs were adequately catered for in the lovely peaceful surroundings as we were. Return visits are always in... More

My wife and I spent 3 nights here and we were enchanted. Everything about the lodge exceeded our expectations. Conveniently located to the local shops, restaurants, parks and the beautiful river. The lodge is private, rooms spacious, clean and comfortable. Beautiful scenery and walks with the dogs along the river bank. We’ll be back.

My mum and I came here for some respite from her illness. Perfect location, right near the Ovens river. Great for bike ride or walk. The cottage was lovely the view from the back deck was so peaceful and quiet. Would love to come back.

Perfect holiday. Gardens with a BBQ to relax outside when it is warm or fire and a comfy couch for when it cools down. Perfectly clean and a fully equipped kitchen for cooking up gourmet food in the area, or drinking the local wine. A perfect base to explore the surrounding area!

This was a trip for two humans and two Cavvies to get away from the stresses of urban living for a couple of days in a beautiful part of our State. The premises were spotless, comfortable and in a lovely setting and a safe and secure place for our four legged friends to wander and sniff all those things they... More
