Stayed here last weekend and it was so spotlessly clean, couldn't fault it all. The new owners Marla and Harry are such lovely people to deal with, nothing is to much trouble for them. Will definitely be staying again in the future

My sister and I stayed in an executive 4 star room which had recently been renovated. The rooms decor is to a high quality standard, very clean a spacious and quiet. The bed was extremely comfortable and the owners where extremely friendly and helpful with recommending the best places in town to eat. We had an awesome weekend and will... More

Stayed over 2 nights for an investigation at Aradale Lunatic Asylum, rooms were well presented, clean, excellent and all staff were friendly and nothing was too hard and people in Ararat were also extremely friendly. Would highly recommend this Motel and we'll definitely be back.

We stayed at the Ararat Motor Inn for 3 days and it was easy to get to once you arrive in Ararat. The rooms were very clean and tidy. Ian and Jan the owners were very hospitable and very friendly. The breakfasts were great delivered to your door every morning. Even though it is situated on a main road it... More

I can't say anything bad about my experience. Marla and Harry (The new hotel owners) were absolutely lovely from the moment I walked in to the moment I left, I felt welcome and apart of the family. Ararat has at least 3 motels spread across the town. This one at the east end on the quite main road (rather than the noisier bypass). Recently bought by new friendly owners the rooms are super sparkly clean, moderately sized and with clean bedding and firm mattresses and pillows for a pleasant stay. many of the carparks offer carpark cover.... I decided to look around rather than book in ahead for a one night stay in Ararat. Coming from Geelong Ararat Motor Inn was the first we spotted and I thought it was a possibility. After looking at the competition we back-tracked as it was a quiet night we were after, and by appearance the cleanest looking and most well... More

I'm not sure why the Ararat motor inn is classified as a Bed and Breakfast as it is definitely a motel. We certainly didn't get breakfast here. It was comfortable, clean, and fairly recently renovated with modern attractive decor. It is located in the main street off the Western Hwy but not in the centre of town. It is a... More

Four of us went to Ararat to do the J Ward Lunatic Asylum tour on Sat 15/11/14 and stayed overnight. After reading all the tripadvisor reviews I chose to book the Ararat Motor Inn and was so glad I did. When I rang to book 2 rooms I found there was a wedding that night and all the rooms were...
