Although this is the fourth time we've visited the Barossa it's the first time we stayed at Stonewell Cottages. The cottages are situated by a small lake where the ducks fly in to greet you on arrival. The cottages are beautifully presented and exceptionally clean. The fridge is stocked with bacon, eggs, orange juice yoghurt, milk, fruit, coffee, tea etc... More

We stayed with friends in the 2 bedroom cottage. Everything that we needed was supplied. Breakfast items were generous, the usual bacon and eggs plus tomotes yoghurt cereals cheeses and even a coffee machine all in very generous amounts. Nice and quiet and warm. Compliementry wine on arrive, owners checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Great... More

We stayed in Spa Haven 2 which was a perfect place to base our Barossa exploration. As a couple looking for a romantic getaway this was so well appointed for us. The selection of provisions left for our enjoyment included almost everything we could have ever wanted. The setting is so picturesque and relaxing. The wood stove was exactly what... More

We stayed in the Cupids Cottage in June for 4 days; our first visit to the Barossa Valley. Met all our expectations. Quaint cottage with ample space for 2 people. Large bed, spa and plenty of room to enjoy the outdoors as the sun rises and sets. Being greeted by the ducks every morning was a beautiful touch! We will... More

On a recent visit to Tanunda and the Barossa Valley, my husband and I stayed at Cupids Cottage, part of the Stonewell Winery Estate and Accommodation. Having a quiet, peaceful and cute cottage overlooking the lake and amongst the vineyards was truly an amazing experience. We loved the well appointed cottage, the large spa-bath, the food provisions for breakfast, the... More

we stayed in Hideaway cottage and decided to extend our stay eventhough we had paid for our 5*hotel in Adelaide and knew that we would not get our money back. I think that tells it all. We paid for the extra pampering and were delighted by the cuality of wine we were left and all the food, very good value... More

Very peaceful and quiet. Short drive into Tanunda and wineries on your doorstep. 5 minutes from Maggie Beers which is worth a visit. We did walk to two wineries on Seppeltsfield road, about 30 minutes walk, was good to ditch the car for the afternoon. Accommodation was clean and as advertised. Great secluded getaway. Would definitely return.

After a horror stay in a different hotel the night before, this was an absolute oasis! Everything was catered for - very high quality provisions for breakfast and more than we could actually eat! It's lovely to hear the birds through the night, go for a row on the dam and feed the ducks or just relax in the two... More

Cupid's cottage was a perfect place to enjoy a small honeymoon after our wedding. We loved the extra little touches in the cottage, the beautiful platter on arrival, the scenery & of course, the ducks! We also loved the extra touch of having transportation to and from Appellation for a beautiful meal. We will be recommending Stonewell to our friends... More
