We spent a weekend away from home at beautiful Barossa House. The first things you notice on arrival are the magnificent rose garden and charming period house. Our hosts Lee and Judi are very charming and welcoming. They gave us a complete tour of the home before taking us to our room with inbuilt en-suite, decorated with period furniture, crisp... More

I dislike writing critical reviews but I found this B&B to be poor and significantly worse than previous reviews would suggest. It may well be that this was above average in the past but standards have moved on. The room was small, cramped cluttered and poorly laid out. And whilst the complimentary port and some confectionery are a pleasant gesture... More

So relaxing, the rooms are so cosy and homely, combined with beautiful gardens and wonderful hospitality. Close to a host of wineries and restaurants in a peaceful setting, perfect to relax, don't miss this one !

What a wonderful surprise was awaiting us at the Barossa House. We had travelled for some time, driving across Australia and this really was a welcome delight. The owner Lee showed us to our room complete with gorgeous en suite, room facing onto the rear garden. There were complimentary chocolates and port in the room which didn't last long!!! Thankfully... The whole property is beautiful. The gardens are well kept and beautifully presented. The house has heaps of character, with lots of eclectic charm to make it feel homely. The new Jacaranda View Room has everything you need, with plenty of space and a very comfortable bed. The actual location of the Barossa House is central to the barossa region,... More

It has been a long time since we stayed in a B&B and realised what we had been missing. Lovely to stay in a 'home style' setting rather that the Brand and Chain Hotels. Barossa House is an ideal spot to stay in the Barossa and very central to key wineries and restaurants. A spacious room with a comfortable bed,... More

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved our stay at Barossa House B&B. We had the room at the front for 3 nights which was decorated very well and very comfortable. The gardens are stunning, and we enjoyed sitting outside every evening. Judi & Lee are excellent hosts, the breakfast each morning was great and gave us a chance to meet... More

Beautiful front garden but that is where it ends, met with envelope in front door, didn't see hosts till late in day and they do not live on site. Then for a short time in the morning to make you a cup of tea, you were not offered a hot breakfast, and served yourself to cereal fruit and toast. Our... More

We stayed at the Barossa House for a couple of nights while we toured the Barossa wine region. Lee, the host was fantastic. The place is very clean and very centrally located in Tanunda. We met another couple who were from Holland, and we decided to Bar-B-Que together for our dinners on both nights. Lee gave us the run of... More

Judi and Lee are very hospitable. We stayed in the room upstairs that is really spacious and has a very comfortable bed. The wine tour with Lee was great ( you visit the boutique wineries, so you can taste the wines that are not sold a many places). We liked the chateau tanunda wines best. Lee gave us great tips...
