So glad we were able to get accommodation here. Sue was a wonderful hostess and even cooks homemade afternoon tea for her guests. (how many b&bs do that?) Room absolutely beautiful, clean, comfy, everything you could want and more. The little added extras like port for a nightcap and extra coffees and we wont forget the mints and fantails, didn't... We stayed for my birthday in May and had a lovely time. Rooms are fully equipped including electric blanket which was an added bonus! Our room also had complimentary port, which my Financee loved :) Only downside was the water pressure, the shower was a bit dated and the head sprouted out water. But everything was impeccability clean and fresh.... More

Blickinstal is the perfect example of why we prefer B&Bs to hotels. Sue was very friendly and provided delicious breakfasts with home made bread, jams, eggs from their chickens, the tastiest bacon I've had for a very long time, and a different home made fruit dish each morning of our four-night stay (fruit compote, caramel apples, mixed berries, poached pears,... The rooms are fully equipped motel style accommodation with kitchenettes and most amities you would want. A great country setting with patio and BBQ if you want to cook your own supper and star gaze. The owners were delightful and provided a very nice breakfast in the main house. Wifi is only available in the main building or the patio.

Lovely spot, nice and clean, comfy bed, wonderful home cooked breakfast. Big thank you to a hard working hostess! Great location, close to everything, but everything in Barossa is close! Farm animals (pets) up the back were entertaining. Cant fault.

Had 4 nights here. Very relaxed and comfortable environment. Wonderful host, Sue, makes the stay with her great breakfasts and afternoon teas, and love Max & Lucy, the resident dogs! Everything you need, down to a Peter Lehmann port provided in your room. Accommodation a little dated, but otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We stayed for 3 nights. We really liked the breakfasts, the cute puppy dogs Lucy and Max, the DVD collection on offer, the company of other guests and Sue's delicious afternoon baking. The accommodation is a little dated but adequate for a short stay.

Had 3 lovely nights here. Sue is a good host who makes all her own preserves and bakes the most wonderful afternoon teas...not to be missed. Good breakfast is down to a fine art and it is nice to chat to other guests. There is a BBQ area available and generous size outdoor setting to sit at. After breakfast &... More

We new this was the style of place we liked when we arrived . There was a note on the office door advising us that " we have gone shopping and let yourself into unit 4 ". Lucy, the Labrador was waiting outside the door . The homemade breakfasts are delisious . Our tour guide Werner met us at our... More

We had the best stay! Every aspect of this accommodation is excellent. We especially enjoyed the breakfast overlooking vineyard, we enjoyed the bacon and eggs very much. The dogs are very cute and the port and chocolates in our room were a treat. We will definitely be back again! Many thanks to Sue who made our stay very comfortable.
