Sarah's Cottage is a beautifully presented and superbly managed B & B accommodation experience which I would heartily recommend as your first choice for couples in the Coonawarra. We stayed for the first time at the cottage in 2008 and returned recently for the June Long Weekend of 2013. The cottage was just as wonderfully presented as we remembered and... More

My husband and i have just had a two night break in Penola and stayed at Sarah's Cottage. The cottage was lovely and quaint, lots of attention to detail every where; including fresh flowers, lovely linen, port, chocolates and wonderful breakfast provisions. The cottage is very close to town and good walking distance to nice restaurants. Thanks you we had... More

Stayed for 4 nights and we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast provisions were good, the rooms were nicely decorated, only negative was the lack of cupboard space had to leave luggage in the lounge room. Location is also within walking distance to the local IGA and the main rd.

Thanks for taking the time to review Sarah's Cottage. The bedroom in the cottage being of such quaint proportions, really doesn't allow a lot of room for belongings. Glad you enjoyed your stay. More

Not only was the breakfast "fixings" generous and deliciously tasteful, so too was the decor. Lots of charm and attention to detail. Fresh roses, super tasty fresh bread, eggs and bacon all added to the delights of this beautifully sympathetic (and romantic) modernisation of the genuine antiquity of the cottage. We were "dumped" by another establishment with very few days... More

The lady (Leolla) that runs this cottage is lovely - we never met but you could tell she really cares for the property. - freshly made bread (stunning - wish we had more) - 6 eggs - the freshest I've ever cooked and I'd believe it if they were picked the day before - very cute florals and decorations (if... Thank you for your comments, so glad you enjoyed your stay. Yes the cottage is cute and quaint, the low doorways a reminder of olden days (my husband regularly hits his head too) Would love to put a queen bed in bedroom, but unfortunately can only fit a double. More
