We stayed during January for the JDRF ride for the cure. Upon arrival we were told that the central part of the grounds were being renovated and there will be a swimming pool, jumping pillow and meeting place in the coming months. I'd like to return to experience those amenities, but it was a little disappointing that these were being... More

Thank you for your comments. I would like to advise that the swimming pool area is not a renovation but a major redevelopment, we did not have pool facilities previously, so this is all brand new. The process started the middle of last year and is nearly at its completion, hopefully by the end of February. We do hope to... More

Stayed in a 1 bedroom unit. Could not have been cleaner! Absolutely immaculate. Amenities were great, extremely friendly staff, walk into Nuriootpa was approx 10 mins, half hr walk to Penfolds. Great location if you're staying in a van, nice big area with toilets/showers in close proximity.

We have to agree with CBMelbourne's comment of "stern staff" at this park. Not a very good impression on arrival. Friendliness and politeness goes a long way! We were here for 10 days and were advised we could not have a grassed site because of the length of time we were here and the watering of the grass could be... More

Thank you for your feedback. We have taken your comments on board and intend to greet all guests in a positive manner. You're right, friendliness does go a long way and we want our guests to feel welcome here. With regard to our grass sites, it is very difficult to keep them green over the summer. One way we have... I stayed here as a group of three adults, in two tents on unpowered sites, for 5 nights after Christmas. Two of us had previously stayed here, almost exactly 2 years ago. As found on our last visit, the facilities are very good - the camp kitchen is excellent with two big fridges, 3 electric BBQs, a kettle, toaster, microwave... More

Booked into powered caravan sites with some friends, none of us had been here before. We were all very happy with the service, the price and the cleanliness of the park. It is a well maintained park, close to town, local pool and local recreation centre. The walking track behind the park with the Bush Chapel and the Bush Garden... More

Lovely camping ground surrounded by ovals and a small bush walking track. Five mins walk to the town's main street and close to the wineries makes this great value for money particulatly if you're after a powered site to pitch a tent such as we did. Five nights cost us around $200. The facilities are second to none in cleanliness... More

It is always great to receive positive feedback, so thankyou for your time. The birds (Corellas) are an ongoing problem at this time of year which the local council is trying to control. Hope to see you back in the future and possibly in our cabin accommodation. More

We camped for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The amenities were very clean and tidy, even my kids commented on how clean they were and they said it smelt nice lol The campers kitchen is well set up and I thought $3 for a load of washing was quite reasonable. Lovely big camp sites with beautiful green grass... More

Let me first admit that I am not a camper. Our family of 3 stayed in a cabin for two nights and I was disappointed in the accommodation for the price we paid. We stayed in the Jayco Ens type cabin #7. Positives: location to town (Nuriootpa), friendly staff Negatives: cabin was old and dirty. Floor was filthy and made... More

Hello Cari, we are sorry to hear about your experiences whilst staying with us. We are regularly praised for our cabin cleanliness, indeed it is one of our strong points. We have inspected the cabin and cannot find any ants nor any leak from the bathroom sink, the folded "clothes" you remarked about are the folded face washers. We have... More

Despite being on the premium end of the tourist park scale, we ranked it third out of the three we stayed in during our two-week holiday on this occasion. The other two (reviews elsewhere on TripAdvisor) were Cape Jervis Holiday Units and Adelaide Caravan Park. Located in Nuriootpa, 80kms from Adelaide, in the heart of the Barossa, there is surely... Thank you for your feedback. As we are a Holiday Park and not a Resort Park, our cabins are rated accordingly as affordable and clean. New BBQ's will be situated within the new swimming pool development which is due to be completed in February. More

Hello Diane, thank you for your comments, we are glad that you enjoyed your time with us. Just a small correction, not sure where in the park you were situated but we actually have many grass sites with shade, come back again and we can show you! Again, thank you for your generous comments. More
