Average, basic accommodation. Feels a little like staying in your Grandma's unit. You get what you pay for. Good if you prefer to save on accomodation so you can spend on fine food and wine. Lyndoch is a nice, small town with some good wineeies close by.

We booked both cottages for our two families (4 adults and 3 children altogether). It was excellent value for money. Comfortable, clean rooms, everything provided you could possibly need (including generous provisions for a cooked breakfast) and a sweet little play area with a swing set for our toddlers. We put the kids to bed on Saturday night, then hopped... More

I booked the cottage under the impression that it was situated on a nice hillside because the owner explained it to me that way. Instead itwas lliterally in his backyard full of scrap. I explained to them that it was for a special occassion (hen's night getaway) for 6 adults and he said that the cottage was for 6 people.... More

Homely comfortable cottage(I of 2) with hearty breakfast ingredients in fridge. We had booked four nights and the food was replenished half way through our stay. There were some little touches which were appreciated such as a bottle of wine and a decanter of port. There was a pleasant veranda to sit and enjoy an evening drink. The website gives... More

We stayed here when we were visiting the wine region. Lovely Cottages, clean, and well equipped. When we arrived, the owner was very friendly, she showed us into our cottage. Lovely little touches that make staying here a great stay, for example, we had bacon, hashbrowns and fresh bread in the fridge, as well as a bottle of bubbly ,... More

We had a very pleasant few nights here. Everything was clean and comfortable, all mod cons available, and the owners were particularly friendly and helpful. They even looked after our dogs for a day. Thank you Carol and Michael! Philip and Susan

Attention to detail from the decanter of Port to a fridge full of breakfast ingredients, everything was thought of by Carole our lovely host. Lyndoch is a sweet town in the heart of the Barossa. Would happily stay here again!

We spent two nights in a comfortable and well equipped cottage, in a calm and relaxing setting. Carole provided us with Barossa wine on our arrival, plus all the ingredients for a sumptious breakfast. Carole and Michael gregarious assistant "Ruby" (Golden retriever) will welcome you with great excitement, which added to the pleasure of our stay. Highly recommended

Agree with the review by Larry32704; all as per their description. I stayed at the cottages for 5 weeks, being in the Barossa Valley for a work trip. It was a real "home from home" that I looked forward to getting back to after work. Great amenities (laundry facilities, BBQ, spa, porch, hairdryer, electric blanket, air-con, ...) in quiet and... We stayed at the Barossa Country Cottages in March. This is a lower cost alternative to the 17 star properties near the wineries. The cottage is clean, nicely decorated and fully equipped with 2 bed rooms (one with 2 singles and one with a queen bed). The kitchen is nice and has all the tools to make a meal. The... More
