Really nice People run this Motel. Although the rooms are a little dated they're clean, comfortable and far enough from the road for us not to suffer at all from Road Noise. I suspect the restaurant was contracted out to somebody other than the Owners of the Motel but the food was great, even though a little slow in arriving... More

The people that run this motel are very nice. Please stay there so they can earn a dollar and update. The 70's tile, bessar brick, strange swing doors and chipboard should all go. You are in the middle of beautiful Australia and they are employing local people. I had good nights sleep so I was happy.

The staff were very friendly and the room was simple in layout. The hand basin was in the bedroom area which was different with the toilet and shower separate. The shower water pressure was great but did have an slight chlorine like smell, perhaps it's needed? For a stopover between adelaide and melbourne the accomodation is good and clean. The... More

The motel was fine. The rooms at the back were well away from the road and weren't affected by the noise. The room was clean although a bit outdated. We tend to want to have fresh air in the room without using air condition but this was a little difficult as windows opened at the top of the door and... More

At first we thought the 60's style room was quite quaint and nostalgic. Until we found that there was no hand soap - only a liquid multipurpose dispenser on the shower wall. No wash cloths. No light above the sink in a dark alcove. The air conditioner roared all night and frankly, I wonder if the the pillows have been... More

Stayed for two nights on work trip which is every 5 weeks, hosts are very friendly, accomadation is basic but clean and tidy. I utilise the Restaurant for both breakfast and dinner, no complaints with ample sized serves, breakfast is a must, big and tasty. Rooms are serviced each day, clean towels waiting on your bed.The rooms near the rear... More

Stayed for 2 nights on work trip during freezing winter weather. Friendly, helpful staff, rooms are basic 60s style, but bed was very comfortable. Elec blanket worked only one side but the a/c kept room warm. No road noise from trucks, which made for good nights sleep. Tad expensive at $110 for superior room, may go basic next time. Restaurant... More

This is typical 1960's motel you find in most country towns. The room was just average, clean and basic. Sink/hand basin peeling paint, electric blanket only 1 control working on a double bed, the other control broken. Plates and toaster were provided but no knife. This motel was overpriced. We booked this motel as I was assured that they had... More

No complaints. Sixties-style basic motel but everything clean and working. Friendly hosts. A good choice in Bordertown for a short stay. In-room breakfast is available but we did not try it, nor did we use the restaurant for dinner.

My husband and I stayed overnight on Thursday (before Good Friday) on the way to visit family in Adelaide. We arrived late just before 10pm after a long drive. Despite looking a bit dated we found our room very clean and smelling fresh. Would stay here again. Front counter staff very friendly. I would recommend calling direct to book to... More
