We stayed at Angaston Mews Apartments in the upstairs "liquid amber" apartment. The apartments are very centrally located in the Barossa and very cosy. On arrival (in the dark) the lights were already on in the apartment which was handy. The 2 rooms both had king size beds in them however they are the zip together beds so not the... More

We arrived in the Barossa region with no pre-booked accommodation but with a recommendation to check out Angeston. As soon as we drove through this pretty little town we knew it was where we wanted to stay. Staff at the visitor information centre (Tanuda) were great at helping us book and everything was pretty straightforward. Upon arriving we found the... More

Hello......Thanks for you comments and yes we must agree Angaston is a great little country town, could be why they call it "the crown of the valley". We also run the Angaston Market here in the iconic Angaston Town Hall (2nd Sunday of every Month) so perhaps on your next visit you can pop in and say Hi...also noted your... More

We stayed only one night in a ground floor unit which we were delighted to find had all we needed for our stay. As a couple we only needed one room, the second room had 2 single beds. It would be a squash were you to have two couples if they had any more luggage than a small weekend case... More

Yes we are very lucky with the location of Angaston Mews Apartments, as they are situated in the main street but in the quiet end of town...walking distance to pubs, wine-rooms and of'course the world famous Roaring 40's Pizza Place. We are now starting up a Market, every 2nd Sunday of the month, showcasing local artists in the beautiful Angaston... More

Angaston is the best location in the Barossa if you want to be in a village area, not too noisy or crowded. The Mews was very nice for our 3 days and Angaston has good restaurants and amenities. The units are a bit cramped but the living and kitchen were well appointed and a pleasure to come back to. There... More

Thank you for visiting "Mews" and glad to hear you enjoyed our complimentary "Sparkling & Supplies". We have been here for quite a few years and just love the angaston atmosphere & of'course Roaring 40's Pizza, walking distance down the road, is a yummy welcome on a cold & dreary nite. More

We stayed for three nights whilst visiting relatives in the lovely village of Angaston. Well laid out and very welcoming with heat on, lamps on and music on the TV when we arrived. The well stocked fridge with breakfast provisions (bread milk cereal butter vegemite etc) was a real surprise and very thoughtful and welcome (saved a trip to the... More

Many Thanks "Nelliebob" for your review....Yes Angaston is a lovely little village settled in The Barossa Valley and that is why we purchased "The Mews" (nearly 5 years ago) as it is walking distance from Cafe's, Hotels, Wine Rooms & General shopping....They were constructed by a local builder back in the 60's and we have always struggled with his over-all... We stayed for four days during our wine tasting trip. Location is at the top end of Angaston, and is actually very quiet, despite being on the main road. Overall we had a wonderful stay at some lovely apartments, however after a fabulous day out we returned home to find personal items missing, including jewellery and perfume. I have stayed in these apartments several times and they are usually clean, tidy and well presented. Each unit is fitted out slightly differently.
