We had a beautiful time at Acorn Cottage. It was a group of 5 girl friends and we spent 2 nights at Acorn. The Cottage had everything we needed and was so cosy. It is walking distance from Angaston shops and the 3 bedrooms are very spacious. Sue is very accommodating and left us a great spread for breakfast as... More

Loved our 2 night stay at Acorn Cottage, wish we could have stayed longer. Location great, so easy to walk to the main street of Angaston and a short drive to either Nurioopta or Tanunda. What we loved most was the extra special touches provided - home cooked slice, fudge, bottle of wine, fantastic breakfast provisions and so many more.... More

My friends and I stayed at Acorn Cottage for 4 nights recently on a girls getaway from Perth. Wow-Acorn Cottage is truly gorgeous and ever so quaint! It's like stepping back in time but with all the modern conveniences that we all love whilst on holiday! The home is quite spacious and the furniture and fittings are all very nice... More

Beautiful cottage, spacious, immaculately clean and well presented. Beautiful local produce provided to guests, including generous breakfast provisions for the entire stay, beautiful cheeses and local wines. Lovely little touches, including fresh lavender throughout the house and a variety of fresh herbs in the kitchen. Great location - walking distance to Angaston main street and close to wineries. Highly recommended.

We booked Acorn Cottage after much research on accommodation in the Barossa. We wanted something with a fireplace and self-contained and found the perfect place in Acorn Cottage! As per the other reviews we had high expectations and we were not disappointed! Everything was thought of by Sue, from the homemade treats to the fresh herbs and local produce provided... More

The cottage is sooo beautiful and the extra touches are extremely thoughtful - from complimentary sherry to facial wipes - and delicious chocolates on the beds. It made our stay sooo memorable and enjoyable!! Will DEFINITELY be back.

My family and another couple (7 adults and 2 small children) spent 4 enjoyable nights stay at the two cottages --Walnut and Acorn --both located within walking distance of the centre of Angaston (the 2 cottages sited across the raod from each other). . Sue and Ken have thought of everything to make the stay memorable,--the small details thta were... More

Our first time in a B&B and to be honest, I wasn't looking forward to it as we're used to the mod cons of hotel stays but the 2 nights we stayed in Acorn Cottage were really special. An historic cottage in Angaston, close to the main road,it was nice and warm on the winter day we arrived as the... More

My wife and I spent 3 enjoyable nights stay at this historic 2 bedroom cottage, which is located about 100m off the main road and shops in Angaston. This ensures you won't be bothered by road noise. Sue and Ken have thought of everything to make the stay memorable, including a small table and chairs, and BBQ at the rear... More

We've previously stayed at Walnut Cottage and were so impressed that we flew in from the ever ridiculously priced Western Australia for a second time. This time bringing the children, we needed the additional space available in Acorn Cottage. Value for money, location, comfort - it's all here. We paid extra for the breakfast provisions and enjoyed them for the... More
