Great cottage with everything you could want ... and lots of extras that make it even more special. Good bedding, clean, kitchen well stock with breakfast & utensils. Quiet street but still only a stroll to Angaston & a short drive to the wineries. Owners very accommodating. We will be back

What a find...the owner Sue just can't do enough for you...she is at the end of the phone if you need her...we didn't need her though S everything is there. She left the heating on for us so we came in to a lovely warm cottage. There were home made biscuits, home made fudge, 2 bottles of older wine (... More

This B&B is amazing! From the moment we arrived we were impressed with the accommodation and all the little 'touches' that make this place so warm and inviting. Home made bread, cookies, fudge, complimentary bottle of vintage wine, port, and excellent breakfast provisions. The house itself is well maintained and the special features such as the open fireplace, claw foot... More

We have just spent a wonderful three nights in beautiful Angaston staying at the Acorn Cottage. Given the time of year we expected some chilly nights but the reverse cycle heating soon took the chill off the rooms until we had the open fire blazing. It's the little touches that make the difference such as the home made bread and... More

My wife and I had a wonderful long weekend in Angaston at the Acorn Cottage. After booking, Ken and Sue sent a welcome email with information on what to do and how to get there. On the day, it was really easy to find after the short drive up from Adelaide and we were met by Sue who showed us... More

We had a beautiful time at Acorn Cottage. It was a group of 5 girl friends and we spent 2 nights at Acorn. The Cottage had everything we needed and was so cosy. It is walking distance from Angaston shops and the 3 bedrooms are very spacious. Sue is very accommodating and left us a great spread for breakfast as... More

Loved our 2 night stay at Acorn Cottage, wish we could have stayed longer. Location great, so easy to walk to the main street of Angaston and a short drive to either Nurioopta or Tanunda. What we loved most was the extra special touches provided - home cooked slice, fudge, bottle of wine, fantastic breakfast provisions and so many more.... More

My friends and I stayed at Acorn Cottage for 4 nights recently on a girls getaway from Perth. Wow-Acorn Cottage is truly gorgeous and ever so quaint! It's like stepping back in time but with all the modern conveniences that we all love whilst on holiday! The home is quite spacious and the furniture and fittings are all very nice... More

Beautiful cottage, spacious, immaculately clean and well presented. Beautiful local produce provided to guests, including generous breakfast provisions for the entire stay, beautiful cheeses and local wines. Lovely little touches, including fresh lavender throughout the house and a variety of fresh herbs in the kitchen. Great location - walking distance to Angaston main street and close to wineries. Highly recommended.

We booked Acorn Cottage after much research on accommodation in the Barossa. We wanted something with a fireplace and self-contained and found the perfect place in Acorn Cottage! As per the other reviews we had high expectations and we were not disappointed! Everything was thought of by Sue, from the homemade treats to the fresh herbs and local produce provided... More
