This hotel was perfect for our needs as a place to just rest our heads after long days out touring the wineries and sampling the amazing food that the Barossa has to offer. A no frills hotel it was clean, our room was cleaned daily and it is across the road from the Barossa Farmers Market which is open every... More

When you book at the cheapest place in the Barossa then you dont expect roses and doorman. Besides the shower lacking a little water pressure, this place was fine. A comfy bed, a tv that had the footy, a iron for my girlfriend and a free paper each morning. It was located across the road from Vintners which is a... More

Cannot rave more about this place. Stayed 3 nights in a King room after a Navy reunion in Adelaide. Us 2 couples couldn't have found a more perfect place to base our stay in The Barossa Valley. Rooms were huge and king bed was big and comfy. Kitchen facilities were good and bathroom had plenty of hot water with good... More

Arrived here for two nights having booked through a third party for a queen room. Booked about 8 months in advance. We arrived and we're told we were to be "upgraded" to a larger room. We walked into the larger room which consisted of 1 double and 2 singles and another separate room with a double. One bathroom. Just 2... More

We booked one night (Good Friday) in a king room. From reading recent TripAdvisor reviews our expectations were not high, but it was about the only place we could find at short notice. We were very surprised! The place is an early 60's motel which largely seems to have had little done to it except maintenance, updating of furniture and... More

We spent one night here. The room was clean and spacious and we found it to be quite comfortable. Across the road from Vinters Restauarant and you can walk there and back. Also just around the corner from wine tasting. The manager was friendly and helpful.

Our hearts sank the moment that we saw the property. Built in 1979, it is typical of its age, with small rooms and a lack of ventilation and light. Based on other reviews, we expected much more. Although the people are pleasant, a lot more could be done. The two saving graces were that we were only staying for one... More

Nice quiet location just 1 minute drive from the town of Angaston. Older style motel but neat and clean. Small room and ok for a short stay being fairly central to most things in the Barossa Valley. The bathroom and small kitchen area share the basin. Biggest downfall was the showers water pressure or lack of,which is either screaming hot... More

This little place was perfect for us-- humble, clean, friendly, affordable. So many great retro finishes in our room (in other words, it's not 'updated' but everything is spotless, freshly painted and charming), and everything we needed for a cuppa. Geoff was the perfect host and I only wish I'd seen more of Buddy and Rocky, motel mascots. We had... More

stayed here for 2 nights. Doesn't look much from outside but very adequate if looking for a base to explore the barossa. Rooms clean and roomy with adequate tea making and microwave. Perfect for access to the Angaston markets on Saturday morning across the road. Only minus maybe is no internet access.
