Planned to stay for 2 nights but one was more than enough. We went elsewhere the second night. Office seems to be staffed part time. Our room was very dated and poorly cleaned with a strong sense that there had been no investment in paint or updating for decades. The road frontage of the motel seems ok, but a look... More

Booked in here for two nights for a break in the Barossa. Nice room, comfortable king bed no major complaints UNTIL!!! Evening of first night and again next morning realised that the shower was backing up and flooding the bathroom. As we headed out that morning I advised reception of the fault and left it at that, thinking they would... More

We are doing a long distance walking track and the Vineyards was in the perfect location. Comfortable beds, breakfast, quiet and well located. Yes it is a little dated but we didn't plan on have dinner parties.

This property was very handy for exploring the Barossa Valley wine area. All units are on ground level and parking is outside your door. The owners are very helpful and friendly. The only down side was that we could not get wifi access in our room or outside. We had to sit near the office to get connection. There is... More

While there is nothing that wrong with this motel there is nothing that great about it either. It is very simple and feels like something out of the 50s or 60s. Everything works but it is very tired and consequently you do not want to spend much time in your unit. My main gripe is the price and location. For... More

...but probably in need of a makeover pretty soon. It's well located halfway between Nuriootpa and Angaston right next to Vintners Bar and Grill and the Barossa Farmers Market (open every Sat 7.30 - 11.30am) Didn't get our promised 'deluxe king' room as the bed in the last available room was broken so we were downgraded to their next room... Difficult to find accommodation in the Valley for 1 night only at reasonable value and this is the exception. Very basic and noisy with the air conditioning needed with the current cold, Mattress sags so sleep can be difficult but with the value, you overlook these issues. Good location for most planned activities.

Looks very 70s but its clean and the staff are friendly. Mattress was comfortable but we rolled into the middle so you want to be talking to your partner :-) Didn't like having the washbasin next to the kitchen microwave but I guess that's a space issue. The two heights in the bathroom only a couple of centremetres but because... More

I stayed for one night with friends who took 2 other rooms. I stayed in a King room which was the nicest out of the 3. The room was quite large with a sofa and 2 arm chairs as well as a sink, fridge and microwave. The décor is pretty old fashioned (purple and red carpet with pastel floral bedspread!)... More

We arrived after the opening hours of the reception however the owner arrived with one call. The room we got for 100AUD per night and that was reasonable for what we got. A spacious, lovely room with a huge bed and tv. Like many travellers throughout Australia we drove with a rental car and it only takes few minutes into... More
