Self-contained living and elegance: less essential a B&B and more of an apartment in the heart of wine country. Great value, especially if you enjoy having the freedom to grab the wonderful local produce and have a BBQ or cook special dinner 'at home' rather than heading out to one of the local restaurants. Two bedrooms and a massive sps,... More

I truly cannot say enough about this wonderful place. My husband I stayed here for two nights and enjoyed every moment, in fact I didn't want to go out and look around but just stay and enjoy the wonderful peaceful surroundings and beautiful quaint cottage. There is certainly room for two couples as the bedrooms are very spacious and the... More

Two couples on a touring holiday, we stayed at Country Pleasures for 3 nights. It was everything as promised. The cottage has two matching bedrooms and a large bathroom, a kitchen stocked with everything and a fridge full of food provided by Roxanne. Not just the usual bacon and eggs but tomatoes, mushrooms, preserves and bottled fruit, not to leave... More

We stayed for 3 nights in Country Pleasures and we loved it. The cottage has everything you could ask for and is decorated lovely. The gardens are beautiful, we loved seeing the little rabbit running around the flowers, couldnt quite catch him though! The bed is very comfortable, the breakfast provisions are more than ample, including homemade bread. We also... More

I found Roxane very easy to communicate with to answer our questions when making our Booking - (at the time she was away from the Barossa Valley). We live in Perth and our daughter's wedding was at Saltram Wine Estate which is close to Angaston. The Rose Cottage was perfect for our 'home away from home' stay and for our... More

We came here for our wedding anniversary and it was absolutely perfect. A beautiful cottage, full fridge of local produce for breakfast, spa bath, bed so comfortable we didn't want to leave, and chickens and a garden out the back. Possibly the best B&B we've ever stayed in. Great attention to detail.

You could not ask for a better location, better cottage or better service than what Roxane offers at Country Pleasures. Visited with my wife for my 30th birthday and everything about this place exceeded our expectations. The Barossa is an exceptional place and this is the perfect base to explore from.

Well done Roxane, what a beautifully appointed cottage. My husband tried to find something wrong but couldn/t fault anything. We loved the brekkie provisions and all the personal touches (chocolates, port, wine, flowers, fresh herbs, plenty of fire wood........). We also appreciated the comfortable bed and spa big enough for two! Angaston is a lovely, quiet little town not as... More

We had a great weekend in the cottages. The provisioned breakfasts were just right for us for the 3 day weekend and the port and wine topped it off. The BBQ out the back was used. For those wanting to self provision a short Saturday morning at the Barossa Farmers market could keep you going all weekend!!
