So, I must admit, after reading the reviews I was very apprehensive about booking a night for our family of 6. We were attending a party, myself, husband and 4 kids. Whilst the resort is definitely not amazing, for $300, accommodation for 6, breakfast for us all, I really don't feel I could complain! The room was very spacious, cleanliness... More

The room was filthy, with heavily stained carpets, a fridge door that didn't close and leaked, furniture that appeared to have been bought at a garage sale, only one of two lifts worked and lots of dead bugs through out the lobby in the morning. All for a bargain basement price of $229 per night. The hotel is in need... More

Dear McOz1, We are disappointed that you are unable to recommend the resort to fellow travelers and apologise that the resort did not meet the needs of your business trip. Whilst we are unashamedly a family-oriented resort we value the input of travelers on business and hope we are able to provide a more comfortable workspace in the future. Regards... More

The pool, grounds and activities are excellent. For families, this resort is well worth a visit. The rooms however, are very tired, and unclean. Not worth the money, but I guess you have to weigh up the facilites. My daughter injured herself, and the first aid kits were dirty and items had not been replaced, so I needed to take... More

Dear mdmoz, I am sorry to hear about your daughter's mishap and trust she is on the mend. Although the resort does have fully trained Senior First Aid officers, comprehensive first aid kits, oxygen and defibrillators on site it is always our insistence that any accident is referred to paramedics or hospital as a precaution. I was soo excited to be staing at this resort only for my great expectations to end in tears. The room was so disgusting we only stayed for one night. Walls, roof, carpet, tiles, bathroom, light fittings all gross! There was also an adult 18+ pornographic magazine in the children's wardrobe... The sliding fly doors were practically in operable! The... More

Dear Anita, I am sorry that your special time away was impacted by room-related issues and sincerely apologise that we did not meet your expectations. My team work extremely hard to provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere for each and every guest and although some aspects of our rooms are due for upgrade we nonetheless strive to achieve a comfortable, pleasant... This resort was built in the 1980s during the Japanese development boom and I'm sure the rooms are in original condition. It's on a beautiful beach (no waves because it's protected by Great Keppel Island so safe for kids) and has a large pool, again great for kids. The rooms are a reasonable size but I'm sure they are still... More

I have travelled the world and stayed at some of the best hotels, whilst seeing some average ones along the way, this one takes the cake. I can Imagine back in the 80's this would have been a fantastic resort, but we are in 2015 and it needs to be bulldozed or one major renovation. It has the potential to... More

Dear Jro25, Thank you for your frank and colorful assessment of our resort. I regret that you did not take the time to alert either myself or my Operations Manager to your concerns whilst you were with us so we could personally identify the areas which caused you such distress and afford us the opportunity to respond to you in...
