We were very happy with our stay at Allure. The lovely receptionist enabled us to check in at 10.00am on the day of our arrival (normal check in is 2.00pm) The beach house style accommodation had everything we needed. Clean, lovely decor, deck and outdoor shower. Plenty of room and bedding. We especially loved the cafe down the front of... More

Dear Guest Thank you very much for your feed back and also your understanding. There was a burst water main on council property on the day in question which left over 300 properties without water. We are so very sorry that this occurred but had no control over it, so we are very grateful for your understanding. We would like... More

Room was not clean! Bird droppings on the lounge! Airconditioner not working and no water!! And to top it off you have staff led by an incompetent and uncaring General Manager!!!If you require any changes or refund make sure it is in writing or done right there in front of you!!! Will not be going back there!!

Dear Guest Thank you for your feedback. I am very sorry that you feel your stay did meet your expectations. I have taken on board all of your comments. I would like to point out that it was not bird droppings, but gecko's we clean the room and I can guarantee that it was cleaned and immaculate but the gecko's... More

We'd booked late and this was the only place on Stradbroke Island that had accomodation left. We arrived late on Christmas eve and the freindly receptionist had stayed at the office until we turned up. The units are not really beach shacks, more high density houses, built of very lightweight materials. Having said that, the accommodation was great for two... More

It was basically a good choice in Brisbane. We spent few nights here and found this hotel waa a nice choice. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable bed. The breakfast was lovely as well. The location was great, easy to walk around and beach nearby.

My wife and I shared a Beach Shack for a night in and had a pleasant stay. The air conditioning was excellent and the Foxtel range provided good viewing. The shacks are close together so we had to keep the blinds down for privacy otherwise the accommodation had all we needed. The bed was comfortable but being up a steep... More

Overall Allure is a nice place to stay, the beach shacks are clean and tidy with little noise intrusion from the neighbouring shacks. The rules that management list out made me feel like I was back at school! I wouldn't be surprised if they start charging a fee if management "deem" you to be having too much fun! I wasn't... More

We had almost all of our guests stay here when we were married pretty much right across the road at the very cool community hall. The villas were fantastic for all different combinations of groups and the shacks perfect for couples. The accommodation is all very clean and maintained, surrounded by beautiful gardens with the occasional 'local visitor' (koala and... More

Recently stayed here with the whole family for my son's wedding held at the Community Hall just across the road. We had 4 different cabin configurations which suited the couples and larger family groups. Very clean and quiet. Would recommend the larger villas at the back of the complex-they're fantastic. Easy access to beach-no need for a car unless you're... More

We spent a week in a three bed villa Great set up for us with older kids but might not work for those with really young kids because of the configuration of the bedrooms. Clean, well stocked, well managed Across the road from the beach Will stay here again

I just spent a long weekend on North Stradbroke for the first time and was thrilled to be staying at Allure Resort. We had THE BEST villa (No 57) which had 4 bedrooms, slept 6 and had 4 bathrooms!! Perfect layout with a great outdoor dining / sitting area with a BBQ and outdoor shower. The design is very casual... More
