Only one night in one-bed studio apartment 'Lombok'. Very homey and relaxing. Just enough for your needs on a small getaway. Spent most of the late afternoon relaxing on the balconies enjoying the spring-time views - bliss. Very quiet while we were there but can imagine that with full capacity of guests, it could get quite noisy. Unusual layout in... More

We spent a night here in the basic 2 bedroom apartment which was perfect for our needs. The view and location was absolutely perfect, we took advantage of the outdoor furniture and had all our meals there overlooking the river and sea. The unit itself was clean and well appointed - the only additional thing we would have liked is... More

We travelled as two couples, one visiting from France, so we wanted something special to show off to our relatives. We were not disappointed. The view and Location were" magnifique" as stated several times during our stay. We had the unit 'Java' which was quite roomy and unique with an open plan bathroom in the bedroom. Our cousins had the... More

You can not get a better place to stay on this coast. The view is breathtakingly beautiful, especially at sunset and sunrise, over the river and sea, and can be enjoyed from the huge balcony area of the penthouse. Inside it is just as stunning with huge floor-to-ceiling windows that share the view with you as you sit in the... More

We stayed in the Lombok apartment for 4 nights. It was an open plan apartment, very clean, modern and had wonderful views. I loved the rain shower in the bathroom. It was nice to sit outdoors and admire the view. and enjoy the excellent outdoor area. Pool was very clean and inviting - in fact we had it to ourselves... More

This was very expensive for what it was. We ended up walking out and not even staying one night. Very small lounge/dining area. Aircon only in the lounge area and only fans in the bedroom despite the westerly aspect. Bedrooms were tiny. Whole unit felt dirty and tacky and very old. Bed looked dirty and worn. If you wanted to... More

We really enjoyed our five night stay at the Sovereign Retreat. The Java apartment was lovely and of a very high standard. The whole retreat had a wonderful Balinese ambience. The views were amazing and the Town of 1770 was very relaxing and enjoyable. We appreciate that we were able to bring along our best friend Dobie the English Cocker... More

We recently had two nights in the spacious penthouse and couldn't have been happier. Mara the manager was very friendly and helpful ,nothing was a problem. The views from the penthouse are beautiful and we spent plenty of time on the large balcony enjoying them with a wine or two !! Close walking distance to the waterfront and the 1770... More
