This is a central spot to stay. Right on the banks of a flooding river so most things are demountable. Yes the managers are very friendly but prices are a tad high for what you get..close to $90 for a very basic cabin. Probably worth going to the coast or checking motels in the same area.

We stayed here for 2 nights on our road trip to Cairns, my husband and I had a double cabin, No.60, which was OK but I am not sure the refurb has been finished. The sliding door to the bathroom was right next to the bed and it felt cramped. I had a cockroach for company in the bathroom. The... More

Motel unit was very spacious, clean and well equipped. The queen bed was very comfortable, kitchen facilities good and bathroom area spacious. Staff were helpful and friendly, giving useful advice for petrol station, supermarket and directions. No complaints at all. Great to have room to relax after day travelling.

I am travelling for three years by pushbike around the world, currently around Australia which is my 20th country (already 7000km). due to my financial situation I can spend the nights in all kind of accommodations, but my need for luxury is quite low. it must be reasonable. in this caravanpark I had an ensuite cabin, which was refurbished. all... So relaxing. We were treated so well, like we were old friends. As friendly and homely as it was, there was no comprise on service or standard. Will definitely love to revisit. Kindest Regards Donna Cunningham

We spent 3nights with our camper trailer on a powered site with slab, and, for novice trailer drivers many of the sites are drive through ! Very pleasant area with minimal traffic noise considering the proximity of Lamington Bridge. Amenities block appeared small but never had a problem, most of the "superannuation Winnebago" owners appear to prefer their own ablutions... More

My husband and I have stayed here before in a cabin. This time we chose a motel room. Love the kitchen facility as I like preparing our own food. We will there again this weekend and decided to go with the motel room again as it had all we needed for a pleasant stay and economically priced.

Friendly, helpful camp ground. The managers/owners gave us a warm welcome and were full of helpful information and entertaining stories, even lent us parts Apollo campers omitted to supply. Wi-fi spot. $30 for the night. Good hot showers, BBQ's looked good too.

For a Caravan Park in the Town this park is affordable for "Nomads". Easy back street entry as well as main street entry. Spacious "drive thru" sites and "level". Good facilities and Laundry fees $1 below usual average. Lovely surroundings and Friendly team. The biggest advantage for me was discount for a single person in a caravan. I think they... More

Thank you Peter. We have always looked after people travelling on their own and will continue to do so. We love our historic city and try to encourage everyone to experience as much as they can, whether it be for a short or longer stay. We hope to see you again one day? More

We had 5 members of our extended family travel to Maryborough for our mother and grand mother's 90th birthday. Two familys in motor homes, one family in a camper trailer and the other two familys in the motel section. John and staff were very friendly and helpful, amenities top notch and power sites terrific. I would certainly recommend this park... More
