Well, I was drawn in at the cheap rate, $66 versus the Hampton Inn which is next door for $139. I read reviews before I booked and debated with myself for a full ten minutes where to spend the money at the Hampton or take the risk at the Innkeeper. Frugal won out. First, I have stated in worse places;... More

Could not access wi-fi. Ice machines shut down and was advised to go to Hampton Inn and get some. Showers still have a straight shower rod. Really, it's 2015, get a curved shower bar. No one wants to take a shower with the shower curtain touching them!!

Good place to stay, just wish we didn't have room directly facing highway. Could hear traffic all night long. Also was on a hallway with a party that went on into the early morning hours. If we go back again I will request room on back part of hotel. I will also call the police the next time I have... More

This was the more affordable option available to us with our eleventh-hour booking thru another travel website. The staff was friendly, but when I arrived, I was asked for another dollar per room for a local "tax" that the website did not collect. We got two rooms with king-beds. Each room had a fridge and microwave and jetted tub. The... More

Traveling across the country and needed a place to stay with my kids when I decided I couldn't drive straight through. In addition to the disgusting room which smelled of urine, hotels-rates who booked it, tagged an additional $35 of "taxes and fees" onto the room rate. Cheaper had I walked in and paid for a room.

We just needed some sleep to finish our trip home and the State Fair was coming to town!! At Midnite we were thankful Innkeeper had a room -and on ground floor!! We slept well, enjoyed a quick "hi-carb" breakfast, exceptionally friendly, helpful staff, all for a very affordable price.

We visited Roxboro for the first time and we were recommended this place to stay. The staff was exceptional, friendly and willing to assist in any way they could, A+ for staff. The continental breakfast was ok, but limited in choices. As for he rooms, updating is needed. A musty and smoky smell was present in some exterior rooms, but... More
