The rooms and general facilities are pretty old and definitely require some maintenance. There were 3 electric outlets for 7 people in the room which is ridiculous and the bathroom was really old and not very nice. The nice things of this hostel are the bar and its live music which was really cool. Moreover, you get free pancakes in... More

This place is just grim. Everywhere is unclean, grotty and unacceptable. The toilets, the general area, the rooms. Everywhere needs a visit from Mrs Doubtfire. The wifi (which isn't theirs) has a radius of a match stick, the tables are so sticky it's like a child has smeared them with pritt stick and the beds are that hard you may... More

Stayed here as we were going on their Fraser Island tour, right outside where the greyhound drops you off, clean rooms with en suite bathrooms! But nothing compared to the Fraser Island tour! Our guide didn't really care to much, and we eleven saw him in the evenings. But the group we were with was amazing, driving the 4x4, even... More

This hostel is lovely and clean the layout of the hostel is good and it has its own bar. Drinks are very reasonable but you cannot bring alcohol to this hostel unfortunately. There is laundry facilities, a pool, and a chill area. Kitchen is ok you get given metal plates and Bowles, therefore there is nothing to put stuff on... More

We stayed here as part of the Fraser Island tour (which was AWESOME) but the hostel itself was very average. We arrived at 8am and had to sleep in the bar until 11am which wasn't a good start - a member of staff just barked this at us when am we arrived. Great after a 14 hour coach journey. Rude... More

We stayed in our campervan but had two nights inclusive in Dingos before and after our trip to Fraiser Island so we used the facilities but didnt stay. The facilities are great and pancakes in the morning were pretty awesome. We got seconds on the last morning :) The trip on Fraiser Island really was amazing. However this really is... More

We were in a dorm room for 8 people, bathroom in the room, not really clean. There's a nice place to relax next to the pool and free wifi from Peterpans in the bar. There's free pancakes at 7am, first arrived, first served, be there at 7! You can also have dinner for 6dollars. Simple food, good but not a... More

We had pre and post accommodation here as part of our Fraser islsnd tour package. We arrived to check in at 9 and the receptionist simply replied 'check in is 10' very abruptly. Sure we knew 9 was early but we were hopeful! The hostel itself is okay, the laundry room was good with good space outside with washing lines... More

Everything about Dingos was amazing. The rooms were very clean and they also have air conditioning. I must admit it did get a little cold but you can rent blankets. The keys are on a band so you can't lose them which was another plus. There are $6 meals which are very tasty. Even when you checkout and your pick... More

We had an awesome time at Dingo's. The hostel is very clean and fun, good entertainment nights with live music etc. The staff are really cool and friendly. This is a must stay if doing the Fraser Island 4x4 tour. Camping on the island was so much fun, met some really nice people. Best prices in Oz for alcohol :)
